Great track pictures, the rest is good also.
Well Barrett did not have to much luck that week with neither the 1199 & 848. The engine blew up on the 848 after lap 2 and he was right in the middle of the pack, he would have done well if only....... Qualified 1st in the B group. The 1199 only has a full Termi system on it, did dyno at 168HP and the front running bikes are + 200 so on a track like Daytona where you are mostly flat out there is really not much you can do.

I like that sticker inside the upper fairing:) on the 1199.

He also ran in the XR1200 race and finished 10th I believe. Only rider to do 3 races that weekend.

Thanks for the details on Barrett. I had no idea the bike was that stock. Is it even an R model? Pretty impressive that he can qualify within 110% of the Factory Yosh GSX-Rs and Yamaha R1's with essentially a stock 1199. Speaks volumes about both the rider and the bike. He definitely had a load on his shoulders racing all three classes. I'm a big fan now.

Was that your CF race bodywork?

The bodywork was just painted black, not carbon. It's to expensive if the bike goes down:), he had a few other bolt on pieces in carbon.
