2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale Leaked by Ducati Dealership

There's always new models, I'd never buy a 1st year of a new model, been there done that and paid the price, I'm thinking SL cams pistons Ti inlet valves, if they come out with a stroked 1299 crank then+ that to the list. Personally I think this is a later year model, for racing I think it's too much too late for WSB ?
 
Interesting.... I'll have to ride down spot MotoCorsa and talk to the guys. Maybe I can get some small piece of info or not.

I was looking at this photo again and since I know these guys because I bought my bike from them and spend way to much time and money there, I find it odd that the tallest guy appears as short or shorter than the others....almost like he is hunching down to make sure the 1299 is clearly visible. Coincidence or planned?:eek:
 
Internet hoax! Probability of that pic being accidental is close enough to zero to be indistinguishable from it... ;)
 
Their biggest problem now, is to sell all in stock 1199 panigales.......
That's why none wanna chat a word about it.

For leaking a picture of Ducati's billboard?

No way no how was that not intentional. I give it a 100% chance of them knowing exactly what they were doing, and that Ducati was also involved.

Agreed - windup or actual new bike, that was certainly intentional. Just how it's done these days... And wouldn't you know, hot on the heels my dealer sends out a mailing that they have been to the dealer show, and to be sure and drop by for the scoop on new bikes. Amazing! ;)

They wouldn't make dealers sign an NDA before entering the event in this case.
 
Did Ducati ever call this a leak? The only people calling this a leak are the press, so I am sure this was purposeful. It will be at the show in Milan, so we will soon know the details. Last time this happened, I ordered my 1199, soooo....
 
I think carefully planned. A heck of a coincidence (rule 39) the 1299 is perfectly centered in the picture, and just enough of it to tease us. Plus, the is the only picture posted online from this event. Even the photographers stance appears to be elevated, probably to control that we saw only the part with the "1299". Added to this no comment from Ducati this was an accident.
 
It was accidental and I believe there was some considerable fallout.

From what I was told that dealer personally called every major Ducati dealership and apologized.
