My first post, please no flames.
The bike has 1000 miles and is completely stock (no modifications). It is currently at the dealer where they are trying to diagnose it.
On throttle with DQS Up+Down activated, it intermittently will not shift up into the higher gear. It happens mainly between 3rd and 4th, 4th to 5th, and 5th to 6th.
The symptoms are that when I'm on the throttle and attempt to firmly upshift with my foot, the RPMs will sometimes rev very high and the bike will not shift up. It surges quickly, but stays in the lower gear. Sometimes, when I attempt to firmly upshift, the shifter will not move (as if it is stuck or wants the clutch pulled in). Other times, the bike will surge (rev high), but will not shift up. Worse yet, sometimes when I attempt to upshift between 4th and 5th or 5th and 6th, it goes into phantom gear (neutral) then will go back into the lower gear without upshifting.
Has anyone else experienced this with 2016 or 2017 Panigale R? If so, what was the remedy? Thanks in advance.
