First off, it's my first ever post on the forum and it's a pleasure to be apart of your community. Ive got a budget of $35,000 and I'm stuck in a decision between either purchasing a second hand 2018 V4S or a brand new 2019 V4. The bike will be used some days as commuting on highways for a bit of enjoyment to and from work and some city traffic as I do live in the middle of the city of Melbourne. It will never be used on a track just commuting and some weekend enjoyment. Older model or a brand new bike?? I can't decide. Not sure though if I need all the extr's on the "S" as I'm new to riding and not sure I will notice the difference with the suspension but after all..it is an "S"... but at the same time, having a brand new bike that nobody else has ridden would be special. Decisions.. decisions..
New is a buzz but a low k'S would be fine, most owners that sell Ducati superbikes after 5 minutes are middle managers who wanted an ego boost but cant really ride them.
Hail ceazr.
I also too reside in melbourne from time to time,
You do NOT want to be stuck with a panigale in that .... between 3 and
6 pm. You will hate your life lol. Dont do it, well not often!
I do it occassionally only due to the fact i hate looking for parking in a car MORE than i do being stuck in the city on the bike.
Also, what do you think of the customer service at ducati melb?
Im interested to hear it...
Thanks for the advice mate. Most riding will be on the freeway it's around 7 minutes form the freeway to my place in the cbd. I'm heading To Melbourne Ducati next Saturday so I will let you know my experience.
