Karl I absolutely love the wheels. Like the saying goes, you can’t please everyone, you got to please yourself.
They are 3 pounds lighter than the stock wheels and, in my opinion, look so much better than the boring old BST’s. Also, they actually look better in person than in photos. Have you seen any in real life or only in photos/videos?
This was the first pair I even saw in real life myself. I had seen pictures only and was a bit nervous about how they would turn out.

I second that. They look MUCH better than the BST.

I like how from a side view the spokes a super thin.

So are you sayin the people who use and abuse these bikes came from a spoiled upbringing and had nice things handed to them so they don't appreciate their mantoys? Your comment about you not flogging these bikes because you weren't given things as a kid rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. If folks sit through and actually watch the whole video, I'm sure others would also be a lil thrown off by your "holier than thou" comment.

Yeah, I guess only spoiled people use their machines in the way they were designed for? Wish someone would have told me that, I grew up poor as .... and my V4 was the first vehicle I ever bought new from a dealership, as well as the most expensive. Been flogging it for years now, lmao.

I made it thru about 30 seconds of the video so I don't have an opinion anything that was said. I also dont have any interest in someone explaining bolt on farkles to me in a airplane hanger. I dont want to come on and blast someones build and bike, bike is gorgeous - I just really dont like the wheels. They dont look like motorcycle wheels to me, looks like something that was made to be on a futuristic prototype bike featured at EICMA. We all love these bikes, and we all use them for different things. As a designer building a Nicky bike and then putting those wheels on it doesn't make any sense aesthetically - but not my deal for sure do what you like. Amazing paint job looks great as for the rest of its nothing special, just some v4 accessories.

Funny this popped up as an ad on IG for me this morning. Saying 1 of 1 and exclaiming that you spent $60,000 is so corny it’s painful. Way to cement the Ducati owner stereotype...

Huh. Well, if you want to see a build invoice I can show you it adds up to $55k for bike and parts and that doesn’t include the cost of labor for a Ducati dealer to install everything. 6 months of build and prep surely tacks on another $5k... As for being pretentious for suggesting that I take care of my things and some others don’t, well, I wasn’t suggesting that everyone else is given what they have, that wasn’t what I meant. If you notice, the video isn’t on MY channel...
My friend wanted some content for his channel, I wanted a video for myself and for my daughter to be able to look back on many years from now and enjoy. I love the bike and really enjoyed making a video of it in the hangar that I work in every single day (when I’m not working away) and my friend who owns the hangar is also a motorcycle enthusiast and liked the idea too.
Sure, you can make a bike 1 of 1 by putting your underwear on it and drawing a smiley face, but this bike was conceived and originally built by Motocorsa in 2019 to raise money for the Nicky Hayden Foundation. It was then toured across the US. It was at COTA in Austin on display for the retirement of Nicky’s number 69 from MotoGP and for the dedication of Hayden Hill. It was also on display at Laguna Seca that year.
Now it’s mine. I have made a yearly pledge to the Nicky Hayden Foundation, plus I am in the planning stages of a fundraising cross-country ride to benefit the foundation as well.
If it gets any chips or damage from the road, or god forbid I drop it, it will be fixed...after all, it’s just a pile of parts.

Its not that I don't think you spent the money, thats actually pretty basic for a v4... Its just advertising it that tacky. I feel like I am just being a .... head at his point which is not my intent do your thing man its a nice bike.

Your V4 is stunning. The attention to detail and level of paint production is amazing. Those are some of the best looking carbon wheels I've seen, due to the thin and symmetrical profile of the spokes. The red Ducati rear stand would show it off better IMO. I would definitely be nervous to ride or drop the bike after spending so much time and money on it. Enjoy it

my only complaint...mind you this is coming from a photographer..... the video didn't hold still enough to enjoy the whole bike!!!!! the bike, the setting....the back drop.....tell the video guy to STOP and stay still for a minute..... let us just sit and stare at the beautiful piece of art work.

enough of my rant.... she is a BEAUTY.

Thanks for the compliments! If you want to look at some stills check out @Nickyhaydenducati on IG. That's where I post photos of her.

Strong.
I have to look up what the Nicky Hayden Foundation does.
Nicky was TOP.
I was just discussing with a client the significance of character / leaders. Some people are able to stay how the present themselves in any .... storm + blow torch. Nicky strikes me as that kind of real deal. Fame, championship, whatever, he was always Nicky. I got to hang with him once briefly before his last Laguna Seca GP. That dude is a real sweet soul who could back-in a D16 that almost no one on Earth could ride. The list includes: Nicky, Stoner. That's the whole list.
Really nice ride as is. If you get a chance on doing a second livery, may I be so bold as to suggest, stars and stripes? That's how I remember him. I always thought it was a bit too much marketing, but his bike at the Laguna GP was always way too much stars and stripes.
