Hi everyone,I am glad to be a part of this forum of incredible v4 machines.
I just purchased a 1 owner 2019 V4 1850 miles on it,full Akro system remap,it is the most incredible machine I have ever ridden and I have ridden lots of them over the past 45 years.
My question is ....my fuel light keeps flashing even when the bike is full of gas.......anyone had this issue?

I don't know if the fuel level sensor works the same way as the Multistrada's, but they are famous for being faulty. It's rather funny and sad that they can't fix it. I think they're on version F or something.

I have 450 miles on my 2018 and haven't experienced this. But I'm with you, happy as hell to have this sweet machine! I've only been riding for 20 years, 2 Yamaha R6s, a Ducati 1098, and now this beast.

I have the flashing fuel light as well, and I just stoppped worrying
It was from the beginning (0km, 0miles) and I still have it
But when the fuel is low, it stays solid, so it works :D
It is the fuel sensor and after replacement, there is a >50% chance it comes back
So I just don't care any more

Thanks so much for the feedback.
I called the dealer and they said they would repair it under warranty.......yay for warranty.
I have only had it 4 days ....jeeeeeez what a difference compared to my 996 and 748 and even the 1098s which I have ridden many times.
I want to comment on the heat from the exhausts.
I read all kinds off stuff on the terrible heat from the v4's.....Ducati's run hot.....this is a race bike its gonna run hot.....I have not felt the intense heat...in fact didn't even notice it and I rode yesterday in 90 degree bright sunny Atlanta day some slow traffic at times.......all in all I am just trying to get dialed in.....but by far the most amazing bike I have ever ridden and owned.....its a work of art......I was told by the previous owner that he had the bike Dynoed in Fort Myers where he purchased it from Fort Myers Ducati and with the full AKro system and Ducati remap it hit 210 rwh......these bikes are insane.....looking forward to some track days with it!!

Do you feel like the heat is a similar to the 1098/1198? I’ve been considering picking a V4 up to add to the stable, but all the heat talk has kind of turned me off.

no need to worry about the "heat" it never bothered me. its about the same as my s1000rr was:)

I have a KTM RC8 with performance upgrades on it,it also runs hot.....the v4 is not as hot as my 996 was....about the same as a 1098s

Don't not buy it because of the heat, you will be doing yourself a huge injustice......the heat thing is no worse than any litre bike......ride a BMW 1000rr see how hot your ankle gets.......
