Hi Mate / when I bought my termi system for 1199s - a while back you could buy headers and slip one separately. Can you do that on the V4s or are you just fitting part of the full system you’ve bought at delivery?

i got the slipon on my 1299, waiting for 15K for the headers to go on, and yes they’re still available. Awesome!

I don’t see any availability for V4 Akra headers separately but that would be ideal

for the v4 I see 3 logical option

Akra for the big spenders cause it says DP on it

Jester for the logical spenders ~$1,500

and lately my favorite option, send to PHL for modification for much less than $1,000

And most importantly, have the bike tuned


And now I see you’re from AU so obviously, Vandemon is the only way to go

Hey guys. I just got my streetfighter today. From my 5 hour exprerience I can say that the bike incredible. Exactly what I was hoping for. I will share my thoughts with you next week after i do the first service.

As with other V4's the exhaust makes a noticeable difference. Sounds great too.

Hello KMY,
Did you put a carbon fiber frame cover on your bike? I think I saw a small logo on it. Is that a Ducati Performance Logo? If you have a close up picture of your frame, please kindly post it.

Hi there. Yes it is a ducati performance carbon frame cover. I went for a long ride this weekend and put over 125 miles on the bike. It was incredible with the new exhaust. I'm so in love with the setup and discovering the bikes many capabilities. It's impressing me more and more with each mile.

Unfortunately the radiator failed due to a rock. UGH!! The radiator on this thing is huge and FULLY exposed. Make sure you get radiator covers. This thing needs it.

I should have it back on Tuesday and will post a pic when it's back in the garage.

Hi KMY,
It's unfortunate with the rock incident, but I hope the radiator can be fixed without replacing it with a new unit. By the way, from all of the picture that I saw on the internet for the Ducati Performance Carbon Frame Cover, I never saw one picture where it have a Ducati Performance Label on it. Did you add the sticker yourself? If yes, May I know where you purchase that sticker? and Thank You for your kind offer to take picture of the DP Carbon Frame Cover when you have it back on Tuesday. I really appreciate it.

Also, I noticed that you replaced the stock oem genuine Tank/battery Cover of your Streetfighter V4 with the Carbon Fiber version.
If you don't need your stock oem genuine Tank/battery Cover anymore, and if it is still in like new/no scratch condition, I want to offer $70 including shipping to San Jose, CA 95136.

Hey BMW Alpina, here is a screen shot of the DP carbon frame covers from Ducati (part number at the bottom) I ordered these for my Streetfighter and they arrived with the 'Ducati performance' logo permanently on them under the clear coat finish.
