2020 Ducati streetfighter new owner check-in

I sat on one and I think they did a good job on the ergonomics for sure. My 1290SD is my most comfortable bike so far next to my XZ14 so I’m really hoping the Street Fighter is as good or better!!!

Ordered my SF V4S in November and should have her later this month. From the start I was also planning to put the V4R tank on it. On my R it's under a full carbon cover to protect it on the track and you can't see it, so the plan was to just exchange the tanks.
Ordered also all the DP stuff available but wanted to add some more parts for the subframe especially. FullSix just lists the normal V4 Parts (same part #s) but I don't trust that since from what I saw the subframe seems to be slightly different. Anyone any direct knowledge about that?

All of us in the States won't really know till later this spring as much as you will this month. Let us know what you learn and post some pics!

the V4R tank is different as far as the rear mounts. Not sure why but if you look on the parts book break down you can see the issue.

I have not been able to find a SF parts book so far. I noticed on pictures the the rear sub frame on the SF looks to be lower bot the bottom of the tank is in the same position.
As general assumption I assume they will avoid having different tanks for the cost. If it doesn't fit at least I didn't order a new one ;-)

My dealer show me the microfish showing both tanks and the tank it self is the same but the rear mounting pads are different. Sucks but who knows I might be able to figure something out.
 
Will this be the long awaited day we here in the U.S. have longed for...the delivery date?

I know you've ordered extra goodies like me, did you learn from your dealer ETA on these? I was told May because some of my items like rims and fluid reservoirs are being dealer installed .

they said the parts are coming in now and over the next few weeks. I think they buy the magnesium rimes in bulk so they have a few sets there.

I watched it yesterday. it was pretty good, Also saw a few reviews on You Tube, they were pretty good. They said it was very controllable and easy to ride. I'm just hoping it feels as edgy at my modded 1290 Super Duke, I'm not looking for a docile bike :)
