ElderBoBo,

How does it run with the baffles out now? Also, did you ever try the other map on T 800 with DB?
Baffles out is better than before my whole flashing saga i mentioned before but it does have the flat spot around 5 and 6,500. With the db's in its an absolute monster. With the db killers out and even the tune for no db's in the afr was lean coming out of the pipes. So that other tune would end up being leaner. Unfortunately only solution is to find someone to dyno it that know his stuff or wait for brentune to run it with full effect and db killers out. So thats my plan atm.

Thanks, for the update. I'll put in the DB killers to get rid of the Flat spot till I can get a Full Tune as you recommended. :)

The heat cycle is having your bike fully cold, start it, don't touch anything and let it have the fans come on twice, once they shut off the second time key off for five minutes minimum. That gives it it's base trims to run at. From there any riding under 6,500 rpm it will work on adjusting and applying trims to its mapping.

I understand how to do the heat cycle but am just not getting how it works exactly.

I have a jesters slip on with the T800 UpMap and so will this still help?

You would have to have your stock tune installed. The T800 disables the o2's. For the cycle to work it needs to self adjust using the o2's.

So go back to the stock tune with the slip on and do the heat cycle then load the tune back on???

Oh it gets much better than that, I emailed them yesterday asking about it and they are taking my bike in for a week or two. I believe they are going to build their tune off of the runs from it.
I didn’t know this day could get any better. I should send my bike up so they can dial it in with my odd ball exhaust. Exciting development!!! But idk $795 I better be getting another handheld diag tool

Im sure they'll have a good tune to send out, i will keep you posted on how things go and how it pans out.

I’m tempted to load the V4 in my van and drop it off up there. No one else is supporting this bike yet
Lol, i believe im thier guinea pig so they can work out the tune and make an image that can be sent out via the handheld. So once my bike goes in (in a few weeks) and they dial it in im sure they'll probably have something to send out. (I'll let you guys know once i have more info)

Curing the dead spot is going to be a miracle... other than that, the bike is already damn good. On my 1299, the BrennTuning upgrade would have been worth even like $6,000. The improvement is very apparent

Completely agree about the dead spot and the power it already has , I'll be very happy also.

Just buy a poster of the V4 SL to pin up! Carbon is great but once you go that rout there’s no returning!
I would love the full cf bellypan but I want it custom painted red with some exposed gloss cf.
V4evo is supposed to be offering an SL wings kit for our Panigale models but I think I like the look of the Regular wings better

will you have Bren dual up your rev limiter. I think I’d prefer mine to stay factory so my engine doesn’t grenade

Yeah i want stock limit

That's outstanding!!! I can't wait cause you have the same mods as I do.

Thanks, ElderBobo.

My bike runs better part throttle with the stock tune and jesters exhaust than the T800 termi slip on tune. WOT is better with the T800.

This weekend I will finally be tuning my bike with tuneboy software and will let you know the results.
