I am new to the V4s and I am looking for some info on setting mine up before I turn to Dave Moss to help dial it in. I just purchased the bike and only has 50 miles on it. I notice I am on my wrists pretty hard on this bike,l but I didnt notice it when I rode the demo model for 30min. Now the demo has been sold and I cant go back and look at the differences. I got mine right out of the box. Does anyone have any good info on dialing these bikes in?

Get some tank grips. They go a long way toward taking pressure off your wrists. The flip side is, with your knees against the fairings and tank, you will feel the heat more.

Yes, I have some G&G that are going on it.

Also, if you have the length, the race and comfort seats are higher in the front than the stock seat, you may find the position change helps with the shoulder/elbow/wrist angles

There is not a lot of adjustability with the clip-ons on Ducati because of the pins. Did the demo have rearsets as the Rizoma ones are a little lower than the stock ones. I wonder how the SFV4 seat would feel as it is much taller, but not sure if it attaches the same way.

Subframe on the SF is the same as the V2... but I do have a Pani V4 stock seat in the garage, I'm going to see if it will fit on the SF...

I have a new V4 too. I find getting forward, up against the tank helps a lot. Also, have a small tank bag, that I can lean on with my left forearm, to take all pressure off my wrists. Give it a try. Best Allan

I dont recall the rearsets being done, but they had done a lot of upgrades to their demo bike.

My guess is that they had all of the Ducati Rizoma accessories (levers, brake guard & rearsets). The rearsets have a lower setting that allows a little extra legroom.

It maybe possible, but not sure. Do you think a rearset would make that much difference?

Seats are different and not interchangable. The Pani has a center point in the front, the SF has a single point on each side of the front.

Silly question because one member already believes it will not, but do you know if the Panigale V4 R gas tank will fit the SFV4(S)?

Any specific rearset better than another for the V4?
I know the Rizoma will adjust lower than stock but not sure about any others. Most are setup to be higher than stock for more of a race position. You just have to check the description or maybe others might answer as well.

Duc-rider - Check the SFV4 thread as some purchased the R tank and their dealer was unable to install because of the differences.

Attack Performance’s rearset has very wide range of adjustment and can be also adjusted quite a lot lower than stock. I have a set in my 2019 V4.

I highly doubt it, but I'm not certain. I know the tank was redesigned, and that may be due to the different subframes which caused fitment issues. I can say for sure, the opening for the portion of tank under the subframe above the tire is about 3 inches shorter than the PV4, but again, that is due to the subframe, not necessarily the tank

I was at the dealership today and sat on the 2020 V4S & SFV4S and noticed that the seats were very similar. I had the parts guy check and the seat parts numbers are different for the 2020 model. I ordered one to see if it gives a little extra room, plus I can save some wear on my Speciale seat.
