Oooo-leeeens. Ib’s videos every once in a while pop up on my feed and it’s amazing how much .... the dude talks but then needs training wheels when it comes to leaning the bike over. His trackday videos are pretty entertaining in a schadenfreude kind of way

No one here has mentioned this new 2023 v4r will not rev past 15,500 in 6th gear. I am really disappointed.

Is it stock? Do you have an exhaust or something? If not then doesn't have the power to pull on sixth gear.my v4 was
Well maybe or maybe not you answer my question, my bad. Is this a fact that the power curve is limited in the United States and the bike stops pulling?

It's not restricted just doesn't pull.
Do you have an exhaust? Or is complete stock?

I have the Akra wheel barrow full system with the upmap. The way I see it, if the bike will not go past a certain point (15,500 rpm) and this bike is rated to hit 16,500 and 17,000 red line in 6th gear it sure seems like it a restriction to me.
Your saying it won’t pull, it’s restricted 🤷🏾‍♂️

How do you know it’s not limited by aerodynamics?

I’ve also heard rumors that the true redline is 19,000

Really bro, if that’s the case they are false advertising this machine. They design these bike to do mainly what they are claiming to do. I just believe this machine is restricted in the United States and to reach that point this bike has to be tuned.

I know right. Ducati developed a special precious metal that was found by a hobbit from Borgo Panigale named Gigi in a cave called Erebor. Pistons and conrods were forged from this precious metal in Mount Doom by Sauron, it is enchanted so that it is impervious to damage and never scratches also known as Nikasil. If it were me I’d be taking this up with Italy’s Nazi prime minister.

He doesn’t know and has now exceeded his pay grade…

Really hahahaha. I am strictly a road rider and no track. The roads i ride has Long straights with sweepers. Every gear will red line but in 6Th gear, this bike i limited (wont go past) to 15,500 rpms. Does ANYONE here even ride like this???????

Yea, truth be told there are no tracks in SoCal that can reach red line in 6th gear on the V4R with stock gearing. Miller Motorsports Park I could get up there but I have not raced there in 10 years; it's a 13 hour drive from here!

I made this comment before I browsed through pages and pages of banter....while we all DO appreciate your input on the issue you are having with your bike most of us here are adults who care little for dick-measuring.
This isn't that kinda place and browsing through these last few pages of verbal diarrhea is a waste of everyone's time.

If you want to ride your bike flat out just make sure when you do crash, because you will, that you don't kill someone innocent.

I told you the bike doesn't pull. You can change gearing and you will see that can red line on the rpm that ducati claims. Relax your balls and your arrogance believing that you are the only one that can go 190miles

😂😂😂 ok my Dude…. What gearing would you recommend. Bigger or Smaller rear sprocket?

You can go front one less easier but you need to do also a transmission adaptive reset to avoid issues with the DQS.

Is this true? I went one down in front and never did this or tire calibration (phonic wheel negates the need?) with no ill effects. Just lucky not to have had issues?

But then again, I also replaced my failed GPS without needing to do any resets or updates either. Just cleared all codes (with DIM Sport Tuner), replaced the sensor, installed the cooling accessories (duct, spacers, ec..), and was done with it.
