Is this true? I went one down in front and never did this or tire calibration (phonic wheel negates the need?) with no ill effects. Just lucky not to have had issues?
But then again, I replaced my failed GPS without needing to do any resets or updates either. Just cleared all codes (with DIM Sport Tuner), replaced the sensor, installed the cooling accessories (duct, spacers, ec..), and was done with it.
I had pretty much the same experience.
But recently, on a trackday, the bike completely died, mid session. Restarted after a minute or so. Same thing happened next session, but took longer to restart. No warning lights etc. I did the tyre calibration, and all OK now
I'm one down front, up three rear.
I did have an error in the ECU, bike in unexpected gear position.
Did you get the 2023 ecu update?
