I haven't had my OEM dash on for so long, I forgot what it looked like, lol. I thought the first gen V2 it revved higher than 12k.

Being that the new V2 was built to compete in Supersport without being neutered, I'd be surprised if they didn't keep the stock dash.

No, all new SSP bikes will need the Solo Engineering package.
Even some of the MotoAmerica Twins bikes have it, now.
And all BSB "Twins" bikes have to have it.

I assumed they put that on the old V2 to limit and control them because they were 750 class bikes. Now they fit with the smaller motor and they're still going to control and limit them?

Mandatory remote monitoring systems are next. They are already required for Superbike, and [I think], baggers.

It's not cheap. But building an R6 engine, without the Solo package, than can compete with a tuned-down V2, or GSXR, isn't either...
