i found the 959 and V2's underwhelming personally...the 2025 V2 will make even less power....hard pass...but i do wanna see one of course...just not for me

I like most of the stuff they put out. On the new V2...that exhaust is a complete abortion. Not feeling that...

They are underwhelming if you're comparing grunt but they are very good track bikes, arguably better than the v4 for most amateur track day hackers

would have to agree the 955 V2 is amazing on track. V4 would be too much for my skill set and local tracks in my area.

There’s nothing truly exciting about the new V2 that makes me want to get it .. but if I was in the market for a middle weight the base model seems like an easy jump from the R9 or RS660.

YZF-R9.

The base V2 is $15,995 and the V2S is $18,995. The base thankfully doesn't get the Sachs shock but rather a Kayaba one.

...and a fuel gauge. Praise be.

Termi exhaust is $3K.

I don't know if it has a steering damper. There's an optional adjustable Ohlins one for a hilarious $750 in the configurator.

The Supersport was/is a Monster with fairings. This seems more like a match for the R9 type of bike, which is likely above a Supersport but below a 959/V2. The R9 has the same style bars. If anything, there is now a greater gap between the V2 and V4.
