total bollocks, driving EV is like you said, a sterile experience. if you need to commute, take a fuсking bus. driving supposed to give pleasure.

"driving around the country" works in tiny places like Sweden, because its size is equal to EV range.

And Sir you have not been in Sweden it seems.....I have 1000km to the south and 1000km to the north to some of my customers and it is rather strong winters to the north, works like a charm. No Greyhound here;)
Regarding EVs it is more a matter of political and ideological mindsets. No need to discuss this here in the V4 forum!

I was looking at the matte black V2 just for ..... and giggles. The bike is $18,895 MSRP. The full system is $6,691.20...more than I paid for a full system on a V4. The current V4 under belly system is $6,273.00 and the under tail $8,364.00. The price creep is insane.

All the corporate types at the factory are driving Audi's and the tour guide pointed us to all the workers bikes which are obviously Ducati's. Wish they would have brought the RS4 Avant stateside but wagons aren't as cool as they used to be.

I asked the tour guide how many foreigners work at the factory and she said "not many but a few" I think I will try and get a work visa. Wife said no-way.

Ran across this video on Honda’s seamless shift transmission. It’s a great explainer if you have 50 mins to kill. Looks extremely complex and finicky. Part-wise there’s probably 4x as many parts than a regular dogbox. It’s similar to bicycle ratchet pawl freewheel but in reverse and needs to work in both directions.
