Yep

So your bike 23v4R and you’ve never altered your rear ride height from original…
And there we have it the lock nut way above the groove indicator….🙋🏻‍♂️

I believe there was a state of confusion around the release of the 23 R with last minute changes and uncertainty around the spec.
This created a confusion and I don’t think they updated their documentation and or ohlins stuff well certainly at the beginning,

If Ducati can last-minute change the spec, they should be able to easily update the service manual. But it still deviates from Ohlins’ spec and recommendations on the eyelet extending beyond the groove.

But they’ve dialed in more ride height to reduce trail and get the R to turn better than the S. So what I did by dropping the forks 4mm is basically the same thing. Thanks for the affirmation

Yeah it’s all about you…. A .... who has never ever measured his shock length or ride height but wants us to believe his bollox written on the back of a ... packet!

Why should I have to measure when I don’t plan on changing it??? Why should you have to check Ducat’s work when it’s incorrect in the manual??? Who do you trust-what Ducati set it at or the manual?

I started this thread so yeah it’s about me you dolt. If you want to talk about your geometry changes or measurements, start your own thread

Definitely looks like it’s at 316mm with the end threaded out that far.

@spooky How would you say the handling of the R compares to the SP?
I thought it felt more agile - very eager to turn and no effort to do so. I was surprised by how different it felt, having expected the engine to be the only difference, but I immediately felt at home on it.
