It doesn't fit the base, the S must be different because of the Led lights. The plug fits the ignition perfectly. I'll give it a try when I get it back together. Thanks for the reply.
 
That's right; I did not think about that. Try calling Ducati Omaha; they build a lot of track bikes and sell the plugs.
 
yep you need the following delete plugs to convert your track bike:

The "Racing Electrical Connector Kit" part number 96580011A, and the rear brake light connector plug "Rear Track Fairing Connector Kit," part number 96580021A.
 
All you really "need" is the fan discount, the kick stand delete and the head light plug. The front break and rear tail light doesn't need plugs. Just disconnect the wire from the loom going into the ECU. That's free.
 
I've been stumped by the connector that fits the ignition since last season. I've already fitted the kickstand and fan delete and disconnected the brake switches.
 
older post but gonna respond to clarify some of the random guesses posted above. The 3 piece kit from Omaha Ducati has the side stand bypass (not pictured) and the black and yellow (to right in picture) fan delete/bypass plug, and the clearish block is for the LED headlight disconnect for 1299S models. this kit normally comes with the Ducati front race fairing kit but unfortunately does not have the 4 headlight bulb plugs for those models with high and low headlight bulbs. The two plugs pictures are simply caps to waterproof/seal the live circuit There are no metal connectors or resistors in the cap. The tail light delete plug comes with the rear race fairing kit. You can put shrink wrap over the connectors to try and keep water out Including the parking LED on the 959. see pictures . Just heat and crimp with pliers. No alarms or warnings on the dash For the headlights disconnected BTW. The rear / taillight is a different story

Addendum : I disconnected the main branch connector to the rear lights under the seat and just rear of fuel tank (white plastic connector with the black rubber boots covering it - will have to clip the restraining wire tires to get it into view) And got no error lights on dash on my 2018 959 DP Corse Just FYI. I did not disconnect the front or rear brake switches either as described in another post And still no error or dash warning even after brake activation. Will update if anything changes After a few more runs.

ok one more addendum . I reconnected the rear loom so I can still connect into the DDS plug in back and just unplugged all the tail and signal lights. once I unplugged the rear running light (have to remove the rear light fairing) I got dash error light immediately upon activating either brake. So just unplugging both front and rear brake switch as suggested way above solved that problem. Just used some heat shrink to cover the exposed connectors. see pics .
Also used $1 sheet of Matt black Oracal vinyl (931 version) used for Cricut or similar craft machines to nicely cover the red tail lights. Took some interesting trimming but it works great.
