No jeans in my office :( only Khakis, so I have to wear those over pants you showed me. We don't have a dealer here that carries these in stock, do you know of a brand that has faded blue looking, not black?

Yeah I was looking at those too but they are out of stock of every size but a 42 waist. I believe it's the same on most sites too because dianese are replacing those with the d1

Damn. So I either have to eat a shitload of Five Guys in the next few weeks to bulk up for the size 42s or pick another pair.

Hmm...I do like cheeseburgers.

I do the overpants with khakis or jeans every day in the early spring/late fall/winter. That works well for me with temps in the 20s-50s, but gets too hot up into the 60s. This is where my trendy black armored jeans would come into play! :)

I'm with you though. I need a pair that won't make me look like I am trying to relive the college years with my jean selection.

I kinda like those. Are they true to size? Would you say a medium is prob 32-34 or so?

That sounds about right. I'm about 36 waist and have size large and they fit fine. The length is a little long, but I like that when I'm riding. They don't end up mid calf.

I wear Draggin Jeans. Bought them due to the great reviews and because they're the only CE approved jeans, and have been using them for a few years with no regrets. They do get a tad bit warm on really hot days, but only in stop-and-go situations. And, as a denim fan, though not stylish per se, they're not ugly either.

Too many choices! Which one did you pick, and why?

When I bought mine, there weren't that many options. Also, there was only one store in my city that carried them at that time. So, I ended up with the Silverbacks. The color is good, but the style is a touch too baggy for my liking. That said, the loose fit is extremely comfy and goes over boots effortlessly.

I plan on getting another pair this year, but something with a slimmer cut since that's my preference when it comes to regular jeans.

Me too, so which one is that? :) I have a pair of boots that the leathers go inside, but these pants with a boot cut could probably fit over them.

I think you'd be alright going with any of the "straight" or "boot cut" options. Comfort/relaxed is going to be a bit baggy, and the slim/skinny, well...you won't be able to get boots under those, I wouldn't think.

he wants loads from five guys.....wrong forum again!!

I had these on when I had my slow low side:
Dainese D1 Denim Jeans - RevZilla

No road rash on my leg and not a mark on the jeans. Granted I didn't slide far but I have a HUGE black and purple bruise on my left hip/leg. The only upside is at least the bruise is Ravens colors.
