Hey Patrick forget about weight loss and focus on building your core so you can support your upper body without putting weight on the front bars you'll probably shed any unnecessary extras on the way but the riding result will be great. I once heard Nicki Hayden say that we can't see how much they use their legs on a bike and learned a whole new stlye from that comment. Heaps of times I hear comments that people get sore wrists and wonder if its because they are leaning on the bars , but it could also be the angle of the wrists. 190cm is a decent frame to fit a sport bike.

Yep, legs are very important. And Stompgrip can help you with that too.

Me on Assen racetrack doing 2:04.155. My goal is under 2 minutes.

Yes me too. I didn't reach the full potential of the 1198. More experienced riders run 1:50with them. I am just a few times a year track day guy and because it is my regular driving bike too, you are never pushing it to the far limit. But I think with better technics and tips I could have done around and above the 2 minute mark.

Unfortunately our times can't be compared to WSBK or MotoGP as they use the fast Ramshoek and we have a chicane in there that knocks a couple of seconds of our times. And they are far superior to us normal people. Anyway, they run 1:35s. I can't imagine how fast they go when I am doing around 155 at the Veenslang. They do 178.
