Actual flames coming from the rear wheel?!

We had this happen to a brand new 1199 at the track. It was caused by the rear master cylinder adjuster nut not being sufficiently tight. It vibrated loose, and the vibrations somehow cause the piston rod to turn in the direction to lengthen it. The more you ride, the more rear brake. Same thing happened, the rear brake heated up enough to blow the seals on the rear caliper and light the thing on fire.
