That paint looks killer!!

Thanks :)

Andrew Swenson has been doing my paint for years. He is the best painter in the US IMO. All of the lines, details etc were done by hand. And it has a Lamborghini clearcoat on it that makes it pop in real life.

Can't wait to see some more pics. What bodywork is that?

It is Armor Bodies, but I would advise against it. It was a HUGE pain in the ... for them to get installed. You wouldn't believe how many times they were like "man I can't make this stuff work". The fairing stay had to be sent to the machine shop and modified...twice. They had to do some trimming on the ducts and in the tail section. It was .....

But the bad part is that now because of the modifications that had to be made to the bike to make the AB fit, I will have to run AB on that bike forever. The Sharkskinz wouldn't fit it now, that is how much stuff had to be modified, beefed up, trimmed, etc.

Jesus. I went with CRC on the recommendation of wilks, and I thought those were tough to fit. But nothing compared to the AB, sounds like.

Just now got all of the CRC bits installed - had to trim the tail pieces a bit and muscle the front fairing around but I guess it wasn't too bad relatively speaking.

Are you not using any kind of lever guard/bar ends?

Hi Chris,
What gear lever throw distance are you getting with the Lightech rear sets? The OEM rear-sets give 35mm up and 32mm down. It is too big for my liking. The equivalent on my RSV4 was 25mm up and 23 down. With OEM I can't find a position that gives me good shifts in both directions. I never had any problems on the Aprilia.

It was a total PITA. If I would have been the one doing it, I would have said .... it and thrown it away.

Yes, I run the Woodcraft brake lever guards, I just didn't have it installed when that picture was taken. I wont be on the track without them.

That is a good question, I didn't actually measure it. I just know I need to move the lever down some. I have to pick my foot up way too much to downshift (GP shift).
