Hey there just bought a 2012 -1199 Panigale. Got about 400 miles on it but front folk susspension is so tight it's killing my wrist (both left and right). Has anyone experienced the same issues? Have made any changes? Have any suggestions, regarding adjustments?

What about the rear mono-shock to minimize back pain?

I had my preload set this past weekend. I have the 1199s so I'm not sure if this translates to the 1199. Either way my suspension was set very tight. They backed way off my preload on the front. The rear only was adjusted a little.
If you aren't sure how to set your weight, I'd take it to your trusted mechanic to have the preload set. Makes it worlds of difference.

Got to get the SAG set properly first - from there you can set rebound and compression. As Gman said for street riding I had to back off some on the front and had to add some in the rear. I am 195 - 200 LBS running in F - I have to post my CF - RF and CR - RR later when I am at home.

Had it set up by a pro on my last trackday. I weigh 180lbs, had to back out the front preload by 1 turn and firm up the rear to get 38 mm front and 25 mm rear sag. When you do that, make sure to firm the compression damping on the forks.

It's like riding on a cloud, front end becomes much more precise. Now I just need to chuck that SP front for something sticky.

Regards

Thanks for the responses. Aparently the comon thing to do is go after the preload on the front folks?
