Aerodynamic cooling system recall

Hello forum members,

So my bike is currently at the dealer getting the Akrapovic exhaust on it.

They just told me I'm getting 2 recalls done and one of the is related to the aerodynamic cooling system.

They told me over 20 parts are being replace in the cooling system.

I though this may be interesting for some of you who complain about the bike running too hot.

It's the radiator shroud, along with the secondary coolant overflow tank. This recall started last week.

Not yet. Still waiting on parts at the dealer. I got the other 2 recalls done. Just this left.

Yeah my dealer is still waiting on parts for this recall as well. Hopefully they'll arrive in the next week or two. My understanding is this will help keep the bike cool (more air over the radiator) it isn't to help with the heat being felt by the riders.

They told me the same, I asked them if I can pick up the bike and take it back whenever they get the parts

I wonder will it affect the fit of an evo tech radiator guard ??

I doubt it. This is on the outside. Evotech rad guard is on the inside. I'll find out for sure soon as I have the rad guards on.

So my bike is getting 3 recalls done... it makes me nervous... I didn't have any problems with my bike at all

Anyone have any further details on this new recall? url, hyperlink, parts availability? I have an appointment for the first two recalls this week. How about a timeframe for the tech to complete the work? I'm thinking about pushing out the work until all parts are in stock and ready to install.
