Hello ladies. I'm currently in the market for a new lid and narrowed it down to two. I did some research on them as far as functionality. I know a lot of you guys probably have these helmets so I'd like some of your opinions as far as graphics goes or anything about the ride, quality etc. appreciate your comments.( help me decide:confused: )

AGV Corsa seagull helmet

I have had the limited edition Agv Corsa Iannone seagull helmet since November. I really like the feel of the helmet and the way it fits. I have heard of some issues relating to the finish for this helmet but I have had no problems with mine. Prior to this helmet I have only worn Arai helmets. The AGV offers a great field of vision. I have never worn a pista GP so can not offer advice about that helmet.

AGV are great helmets, I switched from 20 years with Arai to AGV and I will stay with them. Will replace my GP-Tech with the Pista now. I would say it depends on the use, if you do a lot of track go for the Pista (weight), otherwise the above two helmets are the same regarding field of vision etc... If you go for the looks, go with the Iannone - says Ducati and is iconic :)

My 2 cents....

Thanks for the input guys. Appreciate it!! I've been using arai as well and I just wanted to change things up. I went to try on the corsa this past week and I wasn't used to how much room I had around the neck area. It felt naked if that makes any sense. Something I would have to get used to. As far as riding, do you get that much noise? The sales guy says it's a loud helmet.

I have always found a lot of wind noise with AGV to be honest. It's not put me off of them that much. I have tried other brands but they all come up that way.......... 150 mph has a habit of doing that!!!

But when you put it perspective you're also sat on a booming twin....... I pretty much always use earplugs these days.

I just got the pista gp a couple months ago but havent rode with it yet(winter) and the fit and finish are pretty nice. I was an Arai guy too but im confident this wont let down. I wear a small ara and in the AGV i wear a M/S and even though its a bigger size helmet the overall size is way smaller than the arai. I would highly suggest trying it on before you buy because the small agv would only go halfway down my head. Every single person i talked to has said this is a loud helmet too.

For anyone looking for the best price on agv's go here. Try on at the local shop first though

Did you have to pay customs. If so, how much?

I own 4 Pista GP's, Hands down the most aerodynamic helmet out there. No wind buffeting with great vision and massive air flow. Earplugs/earbuds are a must. My everyday go to helmet.

I bought a K-3 SV last year. It still has good features, airflow, and vision. If you were considering something more affordable.

Hi,

I went from the Arai GP7 to the AGV Ti-Tech and now GP-Pista, great choice.

I like the sea-gull to but wanted something different because of the chicken ;)
