What are everyones thoughts on the 'NEW' 2020 V4's

This is the effect of Ducati being owned by a big Corporation (VW Group). Quality increases, but it hurts the heritage overall. "Special/limited editions" aren't so limited anymore because everything is driven by profit and loss, and therefore all the special/distinct features in last year's R has to be carried over onto this year's base model.

^ Yea, not sure about a learning algorithm that came out in 2018 for the V4S. What I am referring to is when I touch the shifter the bike shifts seemingly smoother than the outgoing bike did. Not sure why, but yes these are subjective observations about my new V4S.

I would attribute any any all problems or "quirks" I had with the 2018 to this potential issue: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10154255-9999.pdf

I have gotten used to mine, and others have commented that they can be removed, but then the bike looks weird without them. I would also suggest that if I could get them color-matched I would and I think they would look much better.

get them color-matched - I would and I think they would look much better

I’m pretty sure it would be under $300 at your local collision repair facility (body shop)

Or u could dip your whole bike with plastidip. Unless you are the type than needs your Ducati to be red
I think the bike would look amazing in BMWs Mineral White Metallic. It’ll look like the combination of an angel and a ghost

Winglet Block-Off plates

Ugly, all you need is some machine screws a suitable washer machined out of red plastic to fit. Or if you're cheap, some suitable wrap or decals. You're welcome, send me $5

I don't necessarily disagree. I don't like the wiglets as others have mentioned and this is one solution.
I'm just putting it out there as an option to remove them.
As for asking for $5, why not ask for 5 billion?
The result will be the same but it will make you look like a investment banker as opposed to a panhandler.

Well here is my idea. Instead of just blank off why not make it as a turn signals. Make it front half of the whole piece as a turn signal and match the body paint for the back half of it. Which i have 3D Printing

I'll let you guys know if the 2020's are any good when Ducati Australia finally starts filling customer orders! And we finally get our bikes delivered

I have the 1299 FE and V4R (2020). The V4 is easier to ride faster - handles better and shifts way better (quickshifter). This is bike is so good that I wouldn't pass up on it because of the heat (manageable) or the "moustache". I'm sure I'll appreciate the winglets more when I get it on the track.

The Road Racing World write up says it all. The 2020 is easier to ride. Which leads to faster lap times. I saw a 2020 base model at my local shop right along side a 2019 model. I just hate the new fairings and the wings are frigging stupid for the street. Easier to ride really?? I thought the 2018 was pretty easy to ride with all the rider aids on the track.
Prepping Francesca (18 V4S) for VIR North and Full next weekend. I playing around with the rear ride height. I still don't like the front end feel. Running SC1 front and SC3 rear slicks. I need to re-spring the front forks.

Nice. What school is that? Do you live in Spain? So many questions.

I got to ride the 2020 V4s last weekend at Jerez. I did the riding school with Scott Redding and Ducati gave it to him.
Overall, I didn’t feel the interruption of the electronics as much as before on my bike (before the Evo2 update). I had no complains other than it was a bit soft (electronic suspension and I didn’t mess with it) and throttle was smooth, my Bike’s throttle is aggressive.
