I used to work in emissions capture..... The carbon canister isn't going back in due to the hot start issues. The AIS doesn't interfere with anything other than getting the correct readings from the widebands, so might as well assist in converting some CO into CO2.

Even if it doesn't go back in, the caps on cost AUD$12.

So you in the process of getting the bike tuned or already tuned? What tuning platform you trying to use? I have never heard of tuning a bike with the narrow bands removed, wide bands installed and leaving the pair valve covers/air valve sensor stuff hooked up.

The PAIR/AIS won't be hooked up during tuning, hence the caps I asked the size for. I have a dyno tune already that made the bike so much better than the upmap did, but there's some spots I'm not certain are quite right. Looks good on the dyno, but doesn't translate in the road. I have the innovate WBs so will confirm and adjust as needed. Once I'm satisfied, I may put the AIS back into action to ensure COs are kept to a minimum.

Might you share where these flat spots are?

What rpm and throttle position?

Constant throttle or when opening it or wot?

I read that somewhere else before terrorizing my harness but started second guessing like I do

There’s no wire at my ecu right now to put a resistor on lol

Thanks for easing my mind
