Just thought I would share this real quick. I finally got to the point of needing a new rear tire. I needed a way to get the rear nut off, but didn't want to spend money on an impact gun. So, I bought an 18" breaker bar. I marked a line on the nut and noted what it lined up to. I then had my 10 year old sit on the bike and push on the brake while I pushed on the bar. As I figured it would, the tire spun even with the brake. I wedged a small piece of 1x between a wheel spoke and the swingarm and that worked! Man, that's a lot of torque!
When retorquing the wheel nut to my marks, the 230 Nm didn't feel that bad. And, once I broke the torque, I didn't need a wedge anymore. Kind of made it easier. To the point I broke it loose again and retorqued, just to make sure.
