Any clue what the 4th new bike will be for 2014?

So far we have:
1. 1199 Superleggera
2. Monster 1200
3. 899
4. ?

I personally would like a Hypermotard with more HP and Torque. One to compete with the KTM SuperDuke 1290.

Wouldn't the SF be more of a direct comp than the Hyper? Say 1199 SF :D

I have the 1199 but want an additional bike that offers a different riding experience such as the upright Hypermotard. I drove the Hyper and felt the power was underwhelming but the style is cool.

Does it have to be a Ducati???

I wonder if more aggressive gearing would wake it up some. My 450sx feels like its trying to kill you under 60mph, plan to turn it into a SM this winter.

Like stw said, there are a lot of great options out there outside of Ducati

Its a new version of the Diavel.. heard this from my dealer..

Am not sure why they didn't reveal this at EICMA but I hear its gonna have a redesigned headlamp and modified air intakes near the fuel tank..

It does not have to be a Ducati but then I would have to by all new leathers and helmet to scrap the logo. lol I'm just kidding, lol. Okay, I'm not kidding. Even though I like the KTM SuperDuke the dealer is tooo far away to seriously consider one.

Well...How about the Z1000??

Diavel needs to go bye bye....

says the guy who also says "how about the Z1000".

Diavel is a great bike, one of the best looking Ducatis. It is a great bike to ride, handling is fantastic, good power. I have done 30,000 km with one and might get the next generation Diavel too.

Z1000, are your serious?

Yes..very .... Diavel is a very very flawed machine... Had one...sold it..fast..

Well mine has been flawless. I guess you are saying your Diavel was a flawed machine. Maybe a bit like the White One here?

Not at all... I mean by design its flawed..Suspension is terrible..fueling is horrible... range is abysmal... need I continue???

lol everyone knows that damn "white one".
The Z1000 is a great bike though. Z1000 or Speed triple R are great road bikes. Many long time rider argue they are possibly the best all around bikes for the money. A subjective statement for sure but the Z1000 get respect from every type of rider.

I would love to own a Diavel, I think. Its safe to say Ducati can be hit or miss for sure.

as a second bike get sport standard like the new Duke R...though if you find the dealer to be too far, then look for a well maintained Ducati 1098 streetfighter...or better yet the more rideable 848 streetfighter... get a good used one...spend the extra bucks on Mods, good tires etc...

It is the yet to be seen Ducati scrambler.... Should see it real soon.

I love your honesty! It's also why I don't like labeled gear. I'm starting a new job today with a new company and a bunch of Polo shirts and a couple of jackets will soon be worn by the homeless on street corners. Fortunately I did not pay for most of them....okay, any of them.
