Anniversario vs Panigale R

Well guys, I ultimately decided to exercise some restraint and passed on the Anniversario. Every time I see a pic of one I give it a second look (man they're pretty!), but ultimately I'm happy with my decision. Leaves one more space in the garage. maybe for the next superleggera! haha.

A nice collection. Is that the 400 peeking out of the corner?

Beautiful collection.

FWIW i don't think the Anniversario would have added anything to the collection.

Hey Guys,

So i need to scratch another itch!

I think a 1299 Superleggera or FE is in my future. I absolutely adore my R, but need the garage space.

Selling it in the classified for what I think is a good price ($21,750). She's pristine like all of my bikes. If someone is in the market for a mint R at a solid price send them my way!

Thanks
Kevin

You should be fine, everyone will be chasing the new flavour (like this owner) so that should ensure plenty of used stock. So guy's like you and me can scoop em up :)

It is NOT just painted 1299. it has been discussed already. Anniversario is the best deal 1299 you can ever get lol. read the website and do the calculation. it is the cheapest limited edition and best bang for the buck limited edition bike ducati ever made lol....

honestly a limited edition ducati is worth nothing when it's just a paint job and exhaust. At this stage ducati has more so called limited bikes than production bikes.

New Ducati Anniversario

Yes I did it! I purchased my first Ducati, the 1299 Anniversario model. The owners manual is nearly 1.0 inch thick and is loaded with information, (some of which is difficult to follow). My only complaint thus far is that after riding for about 30 minutes my left hand, (starting with the thumb), begins to go numb. Never have I experienced this sensation on any other bike, i.e.ZX12, ZX10, FJR, RZ, LC. I'm believe the sensation could be caused by the angle of the bars resulting in excess pressure placed between the thumb and forefinger. My right hand is not affected. To remedy, I will first try different gloves.
Has anyone else experienced a similar ailment?

The race and comfort seat place you higher giving a perfect angle to the bars relieving the pressure.

R is pending sale as of this morning.

I clearly listed this bike too low and probably left a couple thousand on the table.

I also gave myself too much time between now and when the replacement is coming. Will be pulling my hair out over the next couple of months!

Oh well. Congrats to the new owner. (I kinda hope you don't show up tomorrow :)

This is the most capable motorcycle I've ever owned and I feel blessed to have had the chance to experience it.

On to the next one!
