ASBK front-runner Jones to contest Japanese MotoGP - CycleOnline.com.au

This will be a very steep learning curve for Mike, I hope he does well but it will be a big jump from ASBK. I am looking forward to seeing how he goes.

He did a great job at the WSBK round this year at PI. Couldn't get a better mentor/team boss in Bayliss.

Talk about thrown in the deep end!! He looks like he's getting the hang of it pretty quick though. It would be great if he does a good job this weekend and gets to run at home next week.

Not a bad effort from Mike, only 0.1 of a second behind his team mate, pretty good for a guy who hasn't seen the bike or the track before.
