Another dyno run full Termi, MWR & TuneBoy - Way Rich

leftcoast32, the TuneBoy system deletes the input from the O2 sensors. If you leave them in place, but disconnected, it will damage them (they need a voltage input to keep the heater element on). As I said, the TuneBoy specifically is designed to be used without the sensors, but I see what you are saying in regards to the upmap tune (obviously why there was a "check engine" light on). The full Termi does not use the flapper valve, and it may also not use the O2 sensors - but on that point I am not sure.

My understanding is that your oxygen sensors were removed. Then they loaded the computer back to the UpMap Termi tune that requires the use of the oxygen sensors.

I have the DP EVO UpMap for the full system on the R and it uses the oxygen sensors.

I also tune GM LS engines with my business.

If this is correct it is a wonder you were even able to get it home.

Whoa, a tuner that ignores, removes the O2 sensors? I don't like that.

How tuneable is the stock ECM? Can dealers only load maps, or can they fine adjust them like a Powercommander yet?

removes them, after the mapping has been done with wideband sensors ;)

Hi Phil

Have you actually developed a map for your exhaust/filter/tuneboy setup?...I'll defnitely be interested...
