Another R&G rad guard story

Just thought that I'd share that two of us - iiiofiv and me - started the R&G install at 10am today and finished the last bolt about 4.30 pm with maybe an hour and a half off for lunch and talking to neighbors!! Yes they look good and will never come out but was it worth it? I really can't see how anyone could do this install alone? We both lost skin off knuckles, cut ourselves on the rad hose clips (man those clips are sharp) but injury of the day went to iiiofiv when he tried to take out his eyeball with the clutch lever!!! and the instructions are real poor as well. 30 mins or so to install the Evotech might be a better choice.
Also want to say huge thanks to iiiofiv for helping me out pretty much all day.

Warp Speed - 2 hours. Must admit a ..... of a job, skinned some knuckles. But learned some more about whats underneath those fairings.

Can't understand why anyone would want to spend that amount of time installing rad guards when the Evotechs take 5 minutes!

Easy answer in my case. I did not like the look of the Evotech. I wanted the gold colour of the Warp Speed. And like the idea of supporting a local producer.

It appears that R&G changed the design so the install is similar to the Evotech Radiator Guards. I installed in only a few minutes.

Evotech 3 minutes installation max

my evotech took 20 min but i woke up early did the top in about 2 min then brewed coffee from my kurig drank it then did the bottom 2 min boom done. oh yea i forgot its about becoming one with the bike and yea they look better

Yes, the R&G kit was changed earlier this year to an external mount, just like the Evotech kit to make it easier to install.
