Anybody have these fairings?

My guess: same Chinese stuff distributed by a US co. Keep in mind the light and bracket are $2200. To keep costs down, may want to remove those before track days. Costs more than sharkskins or armor body. Don't ask me how I know.

Ah geesh. I was wondering about the lights. That sucks. Lol

Expensive plastic.

These are cheap Chinese crap.I saw a review on you tube on this brand and they cracked and the paint chipped and peeled.

I have these on my ZX-6R track bike.

They are good if you consider the price. While they are not the OE quality they do fit well and the paint is decent.

After three years on the bike and multiple track days as well as several thousand street miles the paint is starting to peel from the usual suspect areas. The other thing I noticed is the track seems to beat them up pretty easy from the pebbles and sand that sticky tires seem to pick up.

That's my opinion.:)

I saw those. The sellers feedback is not great.

Heres what im wondering. Are the fairings from motorcycle fairings usa or ifairings any different then these or do they come from all the same places.

I have hear mixed and some good reviews.

Heres a review from ABS fairings. This guy had a custom set made for his R1.

I was hoping someone had a tricolore set I could see. I might have to be the first. LOL

they are cheap chinese fairing so the fit can be inconsistent at times, however if you crash on them they tend to disintegrate and with track fairings you tend to get what you pay for, hence armor bodies etc are $1000 or so without painting and fitment.

First actual user review! +1

You can apply a DIY Paint Protection Film (PPF) Kit that was mentioned on several threads here, and that would go a long way to prevent track/street debris damage as described above. I've got a set of ultra-light Motoxpricambi Carbon Tex fairings from Italy that are unmounted and unpainted, NIB. I'm feeling so lazy that I might just get a set of these instead and sell this set:

From their eBay description:

The Fairing is a complete kit with belly pan, lateral fairings, front uper part, back seat, front fender undertray of seat and seat holder.

Motogpricambi has just introduce a revolution in the world of race fairings, developing a new material : the CARBON-TEX, an evoltution of the finest fiberglass.

The main characteristics are :

weight : the total weight of a fairing in Carbon Tex is just 3,00 kg (6,6 pounds), around 40% less than a regular fibreglass fairing - this weight is really close to a pure carbon fairing.

Cost saving : the cost of a Carbon-Tex fairing is really convenient, respect a full carbon fairing

Easy fit : those fairings, compare to carbon fairings, are more flexible and so more easy to mount on the bike

Strongness : those fairings are reinforced internally with Carbon, Kevlar, Koremat and Tex

Reliability : if you mount a pure carbon fairing and you damage it, you cannot repair it, since carbon material is not possible to be fixed. Our new Carbon Tex fairings are easy to fix, as the normal fiberglass

Easy to paint : another characteristic of Carbon Tex is to be really smooth and clear on the surface. In this way you can save from 10 to 15% in time and material during the painting process.

Stan your plan is to put it on the track with the bodywork right, and leave it on so you can ride street also.

I'll be honest Brother, and I know those that ride track will back me up on this.

Panigale's because they essentially have no frame don't crash well often.

At the track you never know what's going to happen, and you certainly don't know if some wanna-be Rossi is going to punt you off the track.

It could happen. You take great care of your baby. Why risk it? A bad crash could cost you several thousand.

Buy a beater track toy for 4K, and then have no worries (and peace of mind).

I see 06' and up R6's for sale all the time on the race boards for under 5K. I know a guy selling an 04' R1 right now for $3500.

We have talked about this. Buy a beater and I'll help you get it setup.

I'll also be the first admit that I don't have the balls to put my Panigale on the track.

Thanks sharing look great
Someone pls buy and review

I've had mine since march. Since I go to the track every other week or so I might fall off eventually and to risk 7 huns would not be the end of the world.

Here is how it went:

Within minutes after ordering I had an E-mail in my inbox. Thinking it was an automated response I got right back with a silly question to make sure it was an actual person I was talking to. It was a real person and they offered to personnalize the kit free of charge. I asked to have my racing number on it wich they said they would gladly do. 2 weeks later I get another E-mail with detailed pictures of the finished kit asking for my approbation before shipping.

Received the kit another 10 days later and was amazed by the quality of the finish. For sure there are minor glitches but overall I was very satisfied. Fit was as good as OEM, the only thing is the red doesn't quite match OEM paint but it takes a very keen eye to notice.

Got several E-mails inquiring about my satisfaction and asking for pictures for their site.

After 5k km, a mounting tab on the tail section has cracked. The paint is more scratch resistent than OEM and the kit has held up very well.

My expectation was for the kit to last for the season and I could then chuck it in the bin without hesitation and get a new one for next year. All this with brand new OEM fairings in a box awating resale of a pristine looking used bike.

China fairings here. Look and fit is near perfect, service was great, they even put my racing number on it instead of the 7. Way more brittle than OEM plastics though.

The advertising for the supposedly US brand looks a lot like these guys:DUCATI 1199 Fairing kit - HONDA CBR1000RR REPSOL fairing_HONDA CBR600RR REPSOL fairing_DUCATI 748 848 FAIRING_fairing bracket.

Even the pricing is similar.

The entire kit cost me 750 $CAN delivered.

So this link above is where you purchased yours? Great review and confidence inspiring.

That's the place.

In order to give credit to whom is is due, it's WAFatboy who was the first forum member to order one and I got the info from his review.

I think I remember that now. Thanks to both of you for reporting results. Did you get the street version or were you able to get a race version with no cutouts for lights? I would be interested in a race version.

Yeah i know. I might end up getting another track bike. Still debating taking this thing. I would like to try a few laps on her though. Yolo!

I still want the tricolore fairings. They sent pics of some customs.
