Anybody know about FL track days

So i moved to florida and they have a couple of tracks here but only found 1 organization. florida track days (floridatrackdays.com). I talk to the main guy seems very nice and its much different than in ny. there is no membership or any of that stuff.

Anybody on here ever ride with them? anybody have other suggestions?

The only experience I have is JenningsGP, great little track. The only thing that scares me a bit is how relaxed they are when it comes to tech. Not all have experience and do the right thing to ride safely!

I usually ride there once a year but we hire out the track and keep the number to under 20 people.

Good point... We've talked about renting it out as normally there's about 20-30 people that go down there in February from our area, but it's hard to get commitment when planning that far out in advance

Mark, I know Tony pretty well. I know most of the instructors and people that do track days with Florida Track Days. They mostly do PBIR and Homestead. During the winter months, that who we ride with. I'l be back on the track in Nov or Dec. We will meet up. They tech like all orgs do and have some fast riders like, Charlie Long, Stefano Mesa, Boello Jr, Chris Boy, The ART guys, Leandro and his crew from Unique Motorsports on the RSV4s and MVs. Lots of fast guys.

It been a while since I rode with those guys but Tony runs a great show down there. I would highly recommend riding with them. I think the no tech comments must have been meant about Jennings and not Florida Track Days. Tony's team does not run Jennings and only runs a race there with their racing organization. It is a separate thing. LJuice is right about the fast guys. There are a couple of guys racing MotoAmerica and some other fast guys. The nice winters give an advantage during the cold months.
