just purchased an alpinestars suit from their website, seemed to have great reviews on Google, and 3day DHL shipping (company is based in Ireland) just trying to see if anyone has experience buying from them, I always get antsy buying stuff online from a new site.

I've used them for Tires, and Full One-Piece Leather suit. They have been outstanding.

Wow. There is an RST kangaroo one piece suit WITH airbag system on there for cheap!

I miss having a kangaroo suit. Noticeable difference in weight.

It's more like A*, it's good for me cause I'm more stocky built at 6'3 and 242LBS. I picked up a size 48, and my buddy picked one up too in a size 44 and he is 5'11 and 195 LBS and he loves the fit too. It's much lighter than all my cowhide suits that I have from Held, and A*.

I've been thinking about an RST... what's the cut/fit like compared to A* or Dainese?

Thanks.

I'll need to measure well, I'm more of a Dainese fit... 6'5" 200lbs and usually wear a Euro 54; tall if I can find.

If you're ordering from outside of Ireland, beware. Triple check sizes. An XL in Canada is considered a L in the EU. I ordered a beautiful, very high quality XL leather jacket and fit like a LARGE. When I explained my dilemma, that our sizes here across the pond differ and that it CLEARLY STATES XL on their website, they didn't care. I didn't want to return but needed an exchange. They were unwilling to work with me with shipping costs. I even offered to pay for 1/2 of the shipping to no avail.
I spent over $1100 in their shop and am very disappointed in their customer service.
The Visor Shop comes across as a buyer friendly store for out of country but it is certainly NOT.

And, I know they will reply that it was I who made the mistake and I don't deny this, but it clearly states XL on their site and what I got was a Large to their standards. They soley blamed me and weren't able to help.
Buyer beware.

Never again!
This was a shipment to Canada.
The Visor shop uses DHL Couriers exclusively, there is no other choice (i.e. no postal service/air mail option). The Visor Shop made no mention whatsoever about additional fees when I was checking out on their site, only the shipping fee is shown. I only learned the true cost from a DHL invoice just prior to delivery. The cost total amounted to $63.71 shipping/additional fees for a visor which costs $78.30. It is the non-disclosure of fees up front by the Visor Shop at the time of ordering that is upsetting. If DHL is their exclusive delivery carrier, and they can calculate shipping at point of sale, they should be disclosing the additional fees as well. Be warned when international purchasing from the Visor Shop. Never again!

All countries have import tax, if you don't know that threshhold, that's your mistake. You can't hold a foreign company liable for knowing every other countries import tax/duty. In the USA, anything under $800 is tax/duty free on import. Simple as making multiple orders.

As for the sizing, all manufacturers supply measurement guides. If you don't know enough to check them beforehand, not the resellers fault. Especially since every manufacturer has different numerical sizes to go along with the alpha sizing.

Sounds like the two of you... if you are actually different people, need to just continue buying from Fortnine.

Used them a lot. Usually for visors but occasionally for helmets and boots.
For info - I am based in the UK

I ordered a helite e-gp air vest from there since the vest isn’t in the US yet and it shipped the day after the order was put in. No complaints other than I had to pay $170 import tax but that’s on me. I didn’t want to wait for the vest to be in the US since I was at the track this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
