I was at Roebling Road one day last year and this guy had a gorgeous 1199. The race bodywork was really nice. I wish I could remember his name. I asked him where he got his bodywork and he said it's an Italian company. He really praised them. This is the site: Moto GP Ricambi They have been communicating with me and said the full race bodywork, w/bellypan, for the 1299 will be ready around June 23. I asked for the scheme to look like the aruba.it race bodywork.

Has anyone dealt with this company? Any experience good or bad? The guy I met at the track was really nice and said positive things about MotoXP but if anyone else is familiar, please chime in.

Why am I asking for advice on this? Because I've never owned a Ducati. The other day I agreed to a set of DucaBike rear sets from Bellissimoto because the CNC rear sets were sold out of stock. Then, just my luck, a day later,I saw the thread on rear sets and what was good versus bad. I just cringed when I read the responses about DucaBike rear sets, not to mention I got pretty upset because I clearly asked the guy in parts would the DucaBike rear sets hold up to racing like the Vortex and Woodcraft rear sets. I'm sure you can guess what he told me.

With all of that said, if anyone has experience(s) with these guys, I'd really appreciate your advice before I truly commit.

Thank you.

Yes, we've gotten several sets of bodywork from Moto XP Ricambi in Italy, both fiberglass and plastic. They have really reasonable pricing on full race-replica bodywork kits, and from 10 feet away it looks great. Up close and personal, I'd say it's not quite on par with the Armour Bodies, Shark Skinz or Catalyst Racing bodywork, but it's really not bad for the money. Way better quality than most of the crap bodywork you find on eBay that is made in China.

For rearsets, nothing is as strong for racing as the Woodcraft kit.

My buddy has the '14 SBK replica set on his 10R and they used his pics on their website. We've pitted together and wrenched on his bike so I've seen them up close. They are actually nice since the clearcoat is sprayed over the decals. I felt the flex of the belly and it's a little stiff, similar to maybe a Hotbodies set.

He keeps asking me if I ordered a set but there wasn't a scheme that I liked for the Panigale.

WOW!
Talk about information overload on that site man! Holy smokes they have SO MUCH info on there its amazing. As one who has Ducabike RearSets on my Tri I do like them for the bling factor and all, but agree with my peers here above who say go with something a bit stronger and durable for track use for sure! I believe I used Vortex on my SV650 which held up superb, even after a couple crashes too!

Woodcraft was just starting out back in the day when I used to ride with the Wood brothers themselves and their legendary father who owns the school I used to break my cherry and get into the club racing sport - the Penguin School who primarily runs up at Loudon. That is back when it was deemed the most dangerous track to ride! lol

Since I didnt dive into that site too deep, how much is the bodywork you spoke of from them btw? Hey, I think Enzoso still has a set of brand new 1199 race bodywork for sale here (sorry I meant Ducati.Org) and he is only asking like $700 I think?
If you are a member there reach out to him, if not I have his personal contact info?

I'm in the process of installing the Aruba.it 1199 fairings on my 1299...really impressed with the service and quality of the fairings. Race orientated though so have to cut away for side stand if you have one still.

That looks bloody good mate...

Are you actually living on the Shetland islands in Scotland??? If so, where the hell do you ride your Ducati? I'm originally from a wee village called Crail, just south of St. Andrews and we have a ton of great roads around there, but SHETLAND!!!

I would buy a set of that bodywork, it looks good enough for me. My concern about websites like that is always getting the product delivered, which seems to not be an issue with this company

Sorry for late reply Shilling....Yer live in Shetland but from Hull originally...Roads up here are amazing when the weather is fine there is no better place in the UK!

My first love was from the Shetland Islands.. Jeannie Arthur.. Lovely wee thing she was.

I had no idea the roads were decent up there. I spend my youth, thrashing around the roads in the Highlands around Braemar and the Spittal O' Glenshee, but never thought of the Shetlands as a place to investigate.

Bike looks great; nice job.
