Anyone running the new Termignoni Slip-ons?

Is it possible positioning is different on the 1299 vs. 1199? Yours looks well closer to the front of the bike, even compared to other pics I've seen of 1299. Can others with 1299's chime in?

Also, agree and forgot to mention that heat has been reduced quite a bit to point where I wasn't bothered today by heat under thighs as before...and today is a scorcher.

Thamer, mine did the same on same side when installing. With bolts/screws loosened, lightly push the muffler toward the right/front of bike. There's some play with the small u-shaped pipe that connects the 2 mufflers. Mine's still a very tight fit, but it clears the tire. Also, I can't tell in the pics, but ensure the it's properly mated to the manifold and ring secured. Good luck...

You think it would fit better with an aftermarket manifold?

Perhaps but not sure to be honest, and it would kind of defeat the purpose of getting a slip-on for me.

Good that you brought up the topic because after my ride today, I noticed small chips on the end wing piece on right side, which I assume was due to rocks spitting up from the tire and hitting it since they're so close. I was going to disassemble and try moving the muffler closer to the front but simply removed the end piece altogether. Plenty of clearance now and actually looks good to me.

But I'm really wondering now we're just installing it wrong? Would appreciate input from other 1299 owners who have installed - how close are your muffler ends to the tire?
