Anyone think bar end sliders help with vibration and tingly hands?

I've just ordered a pair myself, but yes the ends are closed for the most part so you'll have to take a blade to it for bar ends.

My Progrips didn't require any cutting for bar ends and if they are street bike grips they should be open on the ends unless they shipped ones for dirt bikes.

Roger that, good to know. I could have sworn from my searching I saw closed ends.

I have the Progrip 724 and they have been good to me for 4k miles with some long 200+ mile days and no tingly hands.

Is there any reason that you guys are going with this version of the 717 instead of the more expensive version ($20 vs $14)?

UPDATE:

Bought new and installed some RhinoMoto bar end sliders. Same damn ants in my right hand after 25mi ride to work at 80+mph. Guess they didn't help me. Anyone hear of heavier bar ends than this brand? The parts guy said these RhinoMoto ones are some of the heaviest yet weighed about the same as the oem ones when I compared in my hands.

Also gonna look into diff gloves. I have A-Stars SP1s but will see if any newer gloves have a better palm pad. Just trying diff things.

How about this...

VIBRANATOR :: Handlebar Vibration Reduction :: Tuned Mass Damper Technology

Saw the list of features for these bar ends. If they could cook and babysit, I would have purchased two sets!

VIBRANATORs have been extensively tested both on and off-road and have been proven to:
-Reduce Arm Pump
-Reduce Numbness
-Reduce Tingling
-Reduce Heart Rate
-Prevent Nerve Damage
-Improve Rider Performance
-Reduce Rider Fatigue
-Improve Mirror Vision

Installed RapidBike Race module.... Nothing but smooth now.... I MEAN SMOOOOOOOTH. It is more expensive than a bar end though.
