Anyone use ESSE motorsports suits?

Hmm, those look like Gimoto designs. Which would be a good thing if they are made in Italy. Odd that their FB page has almost no pictures of suits. I would ask where the suits are made. If they are made in Pakistan, run! The Pakistani custom suit industry is over saturated here and I don't know a single person that has ever gotten their suit on time or cut right in the past year from one of those.

If you are wondering, anyone who makes a minimum order can get their own custom suit company from those plants over there. Some friends of mine were going to do it just to get suits at cost but abandoned the idea after we checked a few out in person. admittedly there are several levels of QC available (just a matter of what you want to pay), but the political situation in Pakistan means you aren't getting any service any time soon.

They said made here in the USA not sure though. I really want a Dainese custom suit but im not even sure how much it costs. It isn't anywhere. I've always been told if you have to ask how much it is you cant afford it lol.

Thanks J. I'll check them out.

Dainese custom used to be 40% over whatever the MSRP was for the standard suit. A few Dainese dealerships in the US will do the measurements for you, they don't let you take your own. At that poing you are usually better off going super high end with Gimoto, Vircos, Rewin etc. Those are worn by tons of WSBK and GP riders. I think even custom RS Taichi's are cheaper than custom Dainese.

I've only heard of Taichis. I'll check the others out too. Thanks shaka

made right here in the US quite a few friends have custom suits by them

i personally doubt that and as a fair word of warning, a racing buddy of mine had a custom suit with unmatching arm lengths and jsut not fitting overall.
retuned suit, never received a refund.

OTOH, Draik77 has had good experiences.

out of my own knowledge, i can tell that a custom suit from pakistan can be had for under a grand.

let me know if i can get you one. shipping in 2 weeks. 1 nice design available (common amongst all "custom"), kangaroo also an option.

Rest are italian brands. You also have US based makers like Syed, Z Custom, Vanson and Barnacle Bill.

Just don't get anything from Pakistan, I may have mentioned that before....=)

barnacle bill repaired my arlen ness. top notch work , design is a little out dated.

FYI on manufacturing locations:

Dainese no longer Made in Italy?

it's all about quality control

Tunisia WTF. I've been there. Yeah dude quality control not happening. WTH. THx for the heads up.

Is aplinestars still made in the us lol. What are some good deustch brand suits phil?

These guys are the dealers in the us for Vircos and Rewin they do the customs here so I am gonna call them tomorrow. I also notice they give a military discount so may score something better for less or a free suit for the team :) lol. Thanks again dude.

Alpinestars was never made in the US, they are Italy based as well. As far as I know, only the Race Replica from Alpinestars and whatever the highest end Dainese suit is (I don't even see a high end model on the US website now that I look, WTF?) were still being made in Italy, everything else was outsourced a few years back.

Dainese super suits ended with the Sukhoi and Bora IMHO. If I could find anothe Bora to replace the one I had a few years ago I would buy it in a split second. I have an Alpinestars Race Replica now, but my next suit will be either Taichi or a custom from one of the Italian manufactures that is actually made in Italy.

Regarding the US importer, you are talking about Wade at Insurrection Racing in Seattle right? Their shop is a few hours north of me, I've met him on track a few times, other than the fact he rides an S1000rr he's a pretty good guy. =)

Yeah, Wade and Carrie. Their customer service is pretty legendary with OMRRA, WMRRA and AFM. They really know their stuff when it comes to leathers. I think they also do custom Alpinestars suits as well.

These are the suits I use Home - USA
It is a Australian company with Australian design made in Pakistan .
I have crashed in thee suits on Several occasions one at 250 km / h the suit never faulted in fact I owe my skin to how well they are made .
Many guys here in Australia use them on the race track as well in the US most comfortable suit I have ever worn .
The Kangaroo custom suits are awesome

Doubt it all you want.. it's what they said in person. . They make them in house. Used to outsource didn't like the quality brought it in house
And again I have if.i think about it 4 friends with Spartans 3 of them.custom and never an issue with them

i think the custom Dainese start at $2000, you should also check out HELD.

RS Taichi are very good but are on the slim side.

Tiachi has a TON of sizes. Euro, Japanese, and American width. Almost impossible not to find one that fits. However, most retailers won't stock all of them. Best if buying one of those to talk to a company that specializes in them like Moto Liberty or STG.
