That is a nice helmet, however there are so many helmets just as good for half the price. I got a full carbon bell star black beauty for 329. my suomy extreme spec 1 r best helmet i ever owned (including arai and bell and shoei) was a 750 helmet i paid 475. i dont see the price to benefit factor with arai anymore. The shields are expensive too and a beeotch to change (suomy hard to change too) bell you can do with one hand.

Best is all relevent to the fit. And everyone has a differently shaped nogin. For me, Soumy does not come anywhere close to fitting properly. I use to enjoy the AGVs, Shoeis, but am forever a Arai guy. The wind noise is a little louder but the comfort is where I find my dollars are worth spent.
I have been recently curious about the Bell helmets lately. Seems like they may have changed their ways and put some effort in the technology. I just have a hard time taking a Walmart brand seriously when it comes to my safety and comfort.

To get back to the initial posting: I'd be all over that Nicky 3 if I didn't already buy a Corsair V solid recently.

Picked one up last night. Best looking Power Ranger helmet out there. I got a Corsair solid black 6 months ago for 730.00. This one is a steal.

You get 30 Revzilla bucks to use for anything else so more like 600.00 for the Nicky helmet.

I agree it depends on your head shape and size. Arai Corsair V must have been made for Asians. I tried that helmet on after wearing a poorly fitting HJC for years. This Arai is perfectly snug all over the top of my head like it was modeled on my head. Slight squeezing of my cheeks by the cheek pads, simply a perfect snug fit. Great helmet. Ventilation is always a concern especially in hot places like socal desert, and this Arai does the trick with all of its engineered ventilation features. The adjustable wing is cool too, but have not had time to play with that yet. Wished I got some graphics though, anyone know who to bring to to get custom graphics?

How did you manage to get the Bell Star Carbon that cheap? Lowest price I've found is $640
