At what RPM do you mostly ride?

Turn your engine braking to 3... Its a added feature to stop engine braking so "off" gives you the most engine brake and 3 prevents the most engine brake..... I know, confusing and seems backwards but trust me.

I try to stay above 5k wherever I'm riding and I never ride in 6th gear and very rarely shift to 5th... No track riding yet.

I played with bunch of settings. I may just need to ride it a bit more aggressive in set to three. Appreciate the feedback for sure.
