Austinracing Exhaust Questions Part2 1199R

Hey, you're not being cool. So there could be a risk of wagons coming to get you. :D

If I understand your thoughts correctly:

The only people allowed to talk about AR is Rich and owners of his product, except for owners that have had a bad experience, or question his claims, or are offended or insulted by him. Otherwise they are free to say anything positive that they like.

Since Rich can do no wrong, everything he says that can possibly be construed as negative is merely him defending everything that is Holy and Right in the world.

Furthermore, if Rich is caught making false claims, or his product fails we should promptly forget about it and say, "Thank you blessed Rich for allowing us to worship both you and your products."

IOW let the Fox back into the Hen house.

If you trust him or his products, visit his website and buy his products. It's simple. No drama.

Actually I did check his webside and that why I came back to see what is going on with this guy, The pipes on his panigale sound amazing.

There's nothing going on. He and his twin have moved on to being unprofessional to people on other websites dedicated to different manufacturers. Let it go man.

I had an AR system on my zx 10 and really liked it. I'm not rich...I don't know rich...but from my own personal dealings with him the price was good, the shipping was very fast (overseas even) and the exhaust was really cool. So I have no complaints. I think the issues were with a couple folks who brought it to the forum rather than keeping it in private conversation with him...then you get a bunch of yahoos chiming in and next thing you know you have a lynch mob. Maybe Rich was inappropriate with some of his responses but I would probably do the same thing when all of a sudden 50 forum tough guys are ruining your business...most of whom don't even have his product they just like to stir .... up. That was my biggest gripe is people who don't even have his product not just keeping their nose out of it.

I agree . as a used car sales guy we sell alot of cars and 1 out of 100 cars , there might be one car that has problem with major problem, we always take the heat and help them as much as we can. Car are unpredictable and that is why we have extended warranty for purchase. but my point is that not every product is perfect or flawless.

P.S the funny part is those people will leave you all kinds of review on the site telling people that our lot sell junk cars and not worth the business either they purchased a car or not , but all the people that are satisfy with their cars NEVER leave any reviews about how good the experience are period.

And that's the biggest risk of taking your business into the domain of the virtual world.

There will always be more peanuts wanting to bring you down whether it be right or wrong just because they can, than there are happy customers.

you right on the false performance gains , not cool

The problem with the performance gains issue, is no one can put their hand on their heart and say Rich really didn't get those numbers, on a particular bike, on that day, under the prevailing conditions, on that particular dyno.

The 1199 was at the time, quite hard to dyno in a repeatable manner.
Let alone throw in a handful of variables.
Now we know more about how to get the best out of the 1199 on a dyno. (Partly due to the AR exhaust experience)

Still, if you're leaning toward getting it for your bike.
By all means go ahead.
At least with the historical information that's available on this forum, you will be well informed going forward.
If it doesn't work out for you, or you end up with buyers remorse.
I wouldn't advise coming on this forum looking for help from anybody here.
Just suck it up and keep it to yourself.

For that matter I don't think too any people on this forum, would really care to hear how well it goes for you either:eek:

I would like to know exactly who or how many on this forum own the AR system!

I have the full system and with the ecu re flashed i was able to achieve the power claims!
In fact I have back to back dyno'd mine with full termis and slip on's, they don't come close!

I have zero issues with this setup, in fact I am completely stoked with it!

It has the most unique sound, out powers every other Panigale and looks way cooler than the termi brigade bikes!

This is purely my own experience as a very satisfied owner.

"Austin Racing...several satisfied customers around the globe":D

And a 'fan base' who bring nothing constructive to any thread in which A&R are mentioned other than the same vitriolic garbage.

And I suppose you think this post is 'constructive' don't you.

Do you even own the exhaust system?

Yes, intelligent humour no doubt!

But seriously, who here owns it and is unhappy apart from WAF?

This went beyond a product and service issue a long, long time ago and any argument to the contrary is missing the point.

It's fascinating that anyone would defend the behaviour that we witnessed but I chalk it up to precious history.

As usual I disagree with Wilkinson, the longer this and any AR thread continue to run it will serve as a warning to vendors to keep it fair and honest.

hey Buddy if you don't like my grammar I got a simple solution for you

DON'T READ MY POST.:D

Its hard to miss 100 posts aboiut same the same dang thing over and over. You don't own it, have no intention of owning, you are just posting here to enjoy the banter. Again, work on your spelling and grammar (what is a hight school?). That's more annoying then going on and on about a pipe 99% of the members don't like. Reminds me of Burnsy lol.

Do you?

We see how much you loved it LOL :D

Yes I still have it on my bike and have no intention of removing it.

And don't jump to conclusions, The reason I considered selling it was that I was going to sell my bike with the stock exhaust and get a little extra by selling the AR system separately.

Thankfully my circumstances changed and a sale was not required.

So, do you even own one?

Please understand, I am not defending his behaviour.
He most certainly could of handled things better.

I just want people to know that I am actually very happy with the product.
I posted my feedback in several threads which everyone ignored and focused on your experience (bandwagon).

So I am simply curious who else owns one and what is there view?
