Would anyone know of a shop that can install the DDS upmap in the Bay Area? My local Ducati dealer won’t do it as they have a bunch of rather ridiculous stipulations.

I’ve heard that it’s getting harder and harder to get the upmap installed in CA. My buddy’s bike has been at the Ducati shop over a week for this issue. I don’t know all of the details but Ducati NA is involved and they are still having problems and it sounds like it’s on Italy’s end.

The letter from Ducati NA to the dealers was posted here:

Thanks for this. I was just a couple days late on getting this done before this letter hit. Dang…

Is there anyway to install Ducati upmaps yourself? Like using JP Diag or T800?

I have my bike sitting at the dealer for almost a month now. The bike went in for the stuff done to it way before the 2/22 date. Ducati NA says they cant see the upmap associated with my VIN.

Mi bike has been at the dealer for way over a month still. They can not remove the slip on map in order to put the full exhaust map on it. Dealer, DNA, Italy... everyone is involved, yet no one has a solution...

Ducati really dropped the ball on this by not announcing this with some time in between this draconian intervention. I get it… the environment… the law. Some heads up would’ve been nice.

Cause Rapid Bike and Bren will not tune the bike correctly not to mention you are still gonna be stuck with the narrow band sensors does absolutely nothing for you above 15% throttle. Spend the extra money, get the correct software (Woolich) and some wideband sensors, log box and now you can correctly tune the bike.

Why’s that?

Ooof. That’s a little extreme for my application. I just plan to keep riding the bike on the street and occasional trackdays.

It seems the UPMAP offers no reasonable performance benefit based on the hoops you'll need to jump through to load it.
It does unlock a pretty cool "RACING EVO" splash screen during startup, however.

Damn nice to see Gunther back in action nice!!!!

Yeah the Upmap does absolutely nothing for the bike kind of goes the same for a Rapid bike or Bren install. By time you spend the money on a RB and a Bren flash can have a complete Woolich package less the strain gauge shifter.
