Bump. Has anyone had a chance to dyno yet? Also, does this eliminate the stock O2 sensors?

UPS next day came at 5.30pm on Friday, so no Dyno time.
Will be on Dyno Thursday.

Yes you do remove the o2 sensor, as it is noted in the instructions.
Install is the same as with every device, tank needs to be removed as well as left & right fairing and then it's just a plug in deal if you follow the directions correctly.

All worked well as it should, runs well now. I don't get to excited about these things any more, done it many many times before:) No base run since I have the custom exhaust on it and the stock map was not even close, bike did not like it:), I could feel that already while ridding around the block.

Did anybody else dyno their bike?

Thanks for posting. Every time I see a dyno from the 1199 I get giddy and want to put on my gear and find the nearest desolate road. The power (even in stock form) is simply obscene!

Oh that is awesome Shift. I been wondering about whether I can clean up the fueling with stock exhaust with Bazzaz. I have limited knowledge of Bazzaz since I only used it on one bike in the past, 08 R6 which wasn't sophisticated at all. On my mildly molested S1000RR, I used a PC-V and had great results. I am on the quest for perfect fueling so I will keep a close on this product.

I spoke to a few tuners and they all told me the like the Bazzaz system better then the PC5, the software and the function it offers seem to be better for them to work with. I also always had PC5's, good to see that there is now another option.

If anybody has the autotune and can confirm that it's worth it, please post so.

I used AT on the R6 initially and still ended up dyno tuning it. AT just doesn't work out every single kink in your fueling nor was it really designed to. It is an alternative for people that swap out exhausts constantly or have no access to quality dyno tuners.

I got mine installed, haven't dyno'ed yet. Off the bat I noticed she ran smoother at low speed (got rid off alot of that slow speed bucking). And a crisper throttle. Talked to a tech at bazzaz about the map it came with and was told it was made for stock exhaust and on the old map. They are making a map for the updated ecu map and slip ons. Think they are waiting for a bike?
I'm also wondering if I should just go get tuned or buy the Z AFM unit.
I have to get an oil change soon and wondering if I'm gonna have to remove the unit for only and oil change....bah.

If you've got a good tuner in your area that'll always be a better bet than the autotune IMO. But part of that depends on what your looking for specifically because you'll get a significant improvement either way but will be able to eek out a bit more with a custom tune.

Glad to see your getting improvement right off the bat. This is going on my race bike and will be installed and dyno'd in the next week or so, hopefully.

Cheers

What you are saying sounds alot like what the upmap did. You had it installed without the upmap on your bike?

Yep, I'm on the previous map.
Tech at bazzaz told me that is the one they tuned too as well since the new upmap wasn't out yet. Said they are working on tunes based on the new upmap now.

PS: I only bad things I've noticed is at a stop I have to give her a lil more throttle to take off.(Before I could just ease off the clutch with no throttle), cruising on the highway in 5/6th gear if I'm at partial throttle and drop below 4k she falls on her face. Tech at bazzaz said in this area she is 20% richer so just change it to 10%. And I can tell she is richer by the smell and instead of the usual 100 miles to the tank im getting around 80 now. So yup, a custom tune is in order.....

I don't know, could be they fixed some of the exact areas that Ducati fixed with their upmap (but broke others), so will be interesting to hear about the two combined.
