BellissiMoto - Competition Werkes Exhaust for 1199 Panigale

It should be here in about 2 weeks, and as soon as it arrives you can expect to see a much cooler Panigale from me, as I'm gonna go pretty wild pretty soon ;)

We all expect to see some pictures, er ah, with your bike in them certainly, but not neccessarily limited to just your bike in them... :D

You seriously like that thing Randy? Wouldve thought you'd go w Akra or AR man. Either way cant wait to see your goods with sone unreal hot topless model spread out on it!

randy say it aint so with that exhaust. thought for sure you would but the full AKRA Ti system on there.

Everything so far has been premium, top shelf pieces. Why change that philosophy now?

Comp Werkes pipes are nice!

I've used them on two of my past bikes and thought their quality and sound was great.

Power doesn't seem to be a problem, and price certainly appears to be good as well, so why not try them?

Anyhow the Akra looks soooo boring to me, I know the quality is great, but it really looks just like the Termi's in my opinion.

The Termi's... well, I'm sure we've all seen enough of those blown apart at the welds to simply avoid them, and I'm not choosing Zard because I'm not willing to give up the passenger seat.

Quat D was very tempting to me - it has the best power increases that I've seen, looks nice, is unique, get's the heat away from the rider, etc... But it would require a slightly different belly pan to really look perfect, and I've already got a custom painted one installed that I'm not about to remove.

"Comp Werkes pipes are nice!"

No way Randy, ugliest welds ever and it seems no one here cares for them enough for you to put them on YOUR bike! LMAO!

You go with anything you want off those plentiful shelves of yours but remember how many heads it will turn AWAY when they see those nasty pipes! :)

I disagree, they are beautifully done welds, I just don't want to see them! They look like something you did for welding class that showed how perfectly you can get different shaped pieces together. As I said before, maybe it is cheaper/easier than bending? I know the good tube bending machines aren't cheap.

P.S. reminds me of Bender from Futurama!!

It'd be awesome if you came out with a special lower fairing in carbon fiber that would cover the vast majority of this exhaust and the opening would hover over that slant cut... THAT WOULD LOOK/BE .......!!! get on it ;)

It'd look way more like the Desmo exhaust. Someone (you guys or duh Competition Werkes) should address the lower fairing was designed around the overall shape of the factory exhaust. Well now that you've replaced the exhaust, you should design a fairing designed around the new.

Am I alone in my thinking here?

I'm assuming that's why your not going with the Austin system either?

I was considering the Austin system, but parts aren't free for me either (trust me they aren't!!!!), and I'm trying to keep a slight budget on this build as I've spent a lot of money recently on other bikes, getting the gun store up and running, hiring a mechanic, proper tools, Ducati diagnostic systems, etc....

I'll see about the lower fairing options once I get the exhaust in my hands and get to play with it, but I thought it looked good with the stock one which is part of why I chose it.

Anyhow, I'm curious about what you guys think of the Quat D, as it really would have been my second choice, the Austin Racing would have been 3rd.

I still can't figure out why you neglect the suspension.
Also, why didn't you match the nose with the rest of the paint job?

I personally haven't seen a Panigale exhaust that doesn't stay underneath the bike that I like. I like the performance gains of the Quat D but not at the expense of aesthetics. In fact I would probably go with the Comp Werks system over the Quat. As for the CW system, I'm sure it sounds great but round or oval shaped silencers mounted under the bike just don't look right. Maybe at some point they'll grow on me, but not right now? Put a CF cover over it and we'll have a winner. :)

Its a crude effort, but something like this:

Now that looks better with the (rendering) front blacked out. Really makes the bike look so mean....BellissiMoto...you should go for this front end to give it a more finished look...:)

Will match the BST's you (bellissimoto) plan to put too! Nice!!!!!! :D
I also think the quality of the welds of the Competition Werkes exhaust looks awesome.

I like that welded cut-up look too instead of the usual smooth bends!
Gives it a more "works" weld ala motoGP.

Hate to stir the pot, but for those of you who were following the copyright picture issue - BellissiMoto actully posted his blackened Tri 5 days before Milanno, just sayin'.....

Copyright picture issue? What the hell are you talking about?

It's my bike, pictures taken by me.

Jeeze, calm down! Someone photoshopped a Tri making it black 5 days after you posted your pic. Then someone else actually created a black Tri for real, and then they were given trouble for not crediting the photoshop guy. Nothing to do with you :)

Oh, maybe I get it a little more now.

Milanno made the Tricolore Nero in JUNE 2012. Check his Deviant Art page.

His renders were pretty much the FIRST to deviate away from Red or Tri.

Just saying.
