Pretty sure a magnesium wheel can't be fixed. With an aluminum wheel heat can be applied, carefully, and a bend can be fixed. Apply heat to a magnesium wheel and it might catch fire.
I had to learn that when I tried to burn off the coating off a porsche valve cover which I thought to be aluminum. Was a pretty bright sight to see
Good to know - if I replace it, I'll use the old one as a fire starter for my fireplaces

Looks like an OZ wheel from that bit of spoke I see Brad
You have a better eye than me. I cannot tell what it is from the photo. At least second hand ones come up here all the time and usually cheap.
Is that your OEM wheel ? If it is then it should be aluminium not magnesium. If not repairable I do not think you will be able to use it as a fire starter.
Here is the replacement - $1200 US after removing the VAT. I paid $2200 for the pair in '12. Is it possible to damage the one side as the picture shows? I am just suspicious it was done in mounting.
