BEWARE !!! SCAMMERS ARE HERE !!!

To all my fellow Ducatistas

I was recently contacted by the member named 'panigaleowner01' saying he had a set of the rear passenger footpeg and asked me to send money to an email account through zelle.

Now he is making excuses to scrap more money from me.

So please be beware of the scammers, only transfer money after doing due diligence.

TO FORUM ADMINS
I would also request any fellow riders to blacklist these members and ban them from the forum

You actually paid him?

Happened to me like I was looking for BST wheels.soonest I made post in want to buy some Stugg contact me and said he got them I asked him how much he said $1700 and in this point I know he’s full of .....at this point I actually wanted know how long he wants continue with bullshitt I told him I’m 2 hours away from him and I can drive with cash on hand to Massachusetts and we make deal.he’s respond was no I’m truck driver I’m not home and only payment it’s zelle.

I've had scammers respond to WTB threads (I'm still looking for a PB #28S pin)....sucks, but I would suggest due diligence on your part and "if it sounds too good to be true..."

Simple solution. Only pay through PayPal or any platform that protects the buyer. Buyers need to stop being cheap and trying to save a few dollars and choosing to pay friends n family to someone online you don't even know lol

I know this isn't that type of transaction but it's similar. Use a platform that protects the buyer. Doesn't matter if you're spending $10 or $1000. It's only an extra 3% or 4%.

Scammers will always be on the hunt to find the next sucker to lick. Just sayin

Totally agreed I had two people on here trying to scam me into buying a triple tree and the ignition assembly.

DO NOT buy from members who just joined and barely have no posts.
ASK FOR PICS. I almost paid for the ignition assembly until the scammer sent pics. The pics were from an ebay auction from a random dude.

Oh they are trolling these Duc forums

Fer sher

Selling exhaust I had a guy contact me wanting to mail a check for double and have me mail him the change (2500)

Was using Boston number (617) 340-5559

I have the address he gave me if you are pursuing this? It’s in Greer SC. Prolly using someone else’s now

I had a guy try and sell me a part and he said he was in Boston but wanted to mail it to me..... But i myself am located in Boston and wasn't going to pay for shipping. He kept insisting for me to send paypal money via friends and family but knowing that I'd have no buyer protection I declined and the guy kept bugging for me to send the money.

I hate to say it but this forum is pretty bad with the amount of scammers.

I placed a "want to buy" post recently. Got only scammers, 5 of them.

Panigaleowner01

They all joined recently (Nov 20 the oldest) have no threads or very few etc., and will not accept Paypal
I hadn't used this forum in a long time, it is hardly recognizable
