Ok what about dealing with someone that has over 500 posts in 40 days and just replies so that their post count gets higher? I would rather buy from a guy with 20-30 posts over a span of 2 years without any negative things said about him. Than someone with 500 posts within a month and already have people talking about him. Just my opinion. @Mick1976

Mick sent me every part he said he was gonna send

: )

*ps - I heard they were gonna ban all the dealers that have not been paying the $80/month

No scammer would put in the time and effort to manually post 500 messages in 30 days ...

What's even more funny is sometimes buyers negotiate with sellers. Sellers end up reducing sale price a little bit. Difference between posted price and negotiated price is ALWAYS a larger gap than just eating the cost of the 3% PayPal charges. Simple solution is sellers should incorporate that 3% into their sale price without having to mention it. Oh, you're willing to let it go for as little as $100 as friends and family payment? Cool. Post it for sale for $105 rock bottom price. Potential problem avoided.

Can't believe some sellers and buyers are cheap as .... and have the need to mention paypal fees in the first place when their bikes cost an absurd amount as is. You're probably already getting whatever you're buying at a discounted price anyway. What the hell is an extra few bucks whether you're paying it, buyer or seller. Just ridiculous.

I think on the flip side, buyers should just add the 3% to the price and send the money anyway. The seller posts a price and states FF, then the buyer (who should care how they are covered) should add 3% and just pay with goods and services. This road goes both ways

I have 300+ posts on Ducati.ms, been there since 2008. I message someone here to purchase something, was told I didn't have enough post, and there are too many scammer?? I told him to check my username and sent him pics of my bikes (so he can see I'm the same person). Plus, I'm buying, not selling, how am I going to scam anyone by sending them money before I receive the merch??
.... it either way, I changed my mind about buying that .... anyway.

I see what you're saying but the problem with selling online is PayPal almost always sides with the buyers. (Which is why if you're buying from a stranger, do not use friends and family. )

I can sell a perfectly legit item and if the buyer opens a claim that it's defective or if he claims that it wasn't delivered/lost or his account was hacked etc, guess who foots the bill ?

The scammer can literally ship a brick back to you and if the boxes have roughly weight the same who do you think PayPal sides with ?

I'm not suggesting that you would do any of them but personally I'm just hesitant to sell or buy from users with no feedback.

Not if you get paid f&f. It happened to me. I paid someone for an item with a friends and family payment, got it and it was not the same one in the picture.
Tried to get the money back but could not, because of how I paid.
