Bike jacker shot in Brazil

That cop should go to the firing range to train. He had to shot twice. From that distance one shot should be enough! :)

And you should go to a ballistics lab because you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Stick to bikes.

Rule #2: Double tap. You think it's dead (technically it was before you shot it), one more makes 100% sure.

criminal got exactly what he deserved. im no expert but his gun didn't even look real but i guess you can't really tell when you're looking down the end of a barrel. even in the usa, beware of bikes with 2 guys on it and for sure, keep your eyes peeled when you come to a stop. or.... simply arm yourself since around here there won't be a cop nearby when you need one. my 2 cents. btw, i never saw any blood (or very little) so unless no one came to his aid..... 2 to the body and 1 to the head.

I'd be an ..... to carry while riding. That's just stupid IMO. If you're fully insured, take the bike. It is not that serious. Last thing I'd want to do is get in a potential gun fight over something I could replace right away. My life on the other hand, not so much. Here are the keys and have a nice ride Mr. Thief.

Thief did get what he deserved though. I would have rubbed it in his face and laughed while hovering over his ... while he layed there on the ground. That's what he gets. Thieves are scums of the earth. I don't like the word hate AT ALL but thieves, I HATE THEM! They want something of yours they don't have or could afford so they take what you worked hard to purchase. HATE fits the bill here. I am 100% certain his buddy that got away will think twice about committing a robbery again after being a first hand witness to this outcome. Fled the scene with the quickness.

I realize its a bike forum...but...Notice when you slow the frames down that the revolver does have rounds in each cylinder, fake guns dont have cylinder cutouts.

Also notice the cops posture as he fires, typical one handed instinctive shooting (Most people revert back to this), this probably contributed to the poor recoil management for the second shot. Bad guy got one round thru the torso (Abdomen) and second in the leg (Usually the second).

"Two to the body one to the head" is a nightmare saying in court, so is "double taps"...totally 1980esque. "Controlled pairs" is the preferred verbiage.

yes i paused the frame and didn't see the rounds at all....so yeah i missed that.

haha...or maybe it's because you're simply not allowed to by your government. :p

lol

I don't really support guns to be honest so I wouldn't even if I could. I've heard both sides of it too many times to count and guns just create more problems than avoid. That's the reality of it all. Whatever happened to the gool ol street fights? Now I'd support that all day. The only hurtin a good ... whoopin does is bruise your ego and make you think twice about your actions. Sure there are those rare cases of worse off scenarios but I'm only referring to the typical street fights. Gettin shot is more often than not going to end up in a death or longgggggg jail time for the shooter. Neither of which I am a supporter of. This is merely my opinion. I will agree to disagree with some.

Spoken like a true victim double0.

I prefer not to be.

Yep. Victim indeed. In 1998, 2 thieves broke into my Honda Civic which was parked in my own driveway of my parents house. Did some wiring damage as well as breaking the starter but my killswitch prevented them from taking the car. Made a lot of noise in the process which woke me up and the .......s fled the scene and left behind tools in my seat. Idiots. Nothing is worse than having that feeling of being violated. I don't give a .... about the car itself (or this bike in this case) but that feeling of violation is something that stays with you for a longgg time, if not forever.

If you shot them in the face I'm sure you would feel better about your civic being violated .

Negative. I couldn't even think about killing my worst enemy let alone some thief. I'll never own a gun. If I feel the need to let off some steam, I'll do it at a shooting range n call it a day.

That really makes me sad double0. Its sad people still think that way.

Rather die than defend yourself with a gun. Typical lunatic California thought process. I will NEVER visit that mindblowing state. The criminals own it and they know it.

You can't be serious, right?

Most criminals won't do .... when it comes to firing their weapon. They don't care about killing you. All they want is what you have. So you're telling me you'd rather put up a fight and take the chance of getting killed in the process instead of just walkin away n letting the thief take what he wants? No realistic scenario plays out where a robber walks up to you and gives you a fair chance to pull out your own weapon to defend yourself. In the real world, you would be shot longgggg before you were able to draw. This isn't some wild wild west scenario on who the quickest to draw is. You're being held up at gunpoint UNEXPECTEDLY! You attempting to defend yourself will result in a much higher chance of getting yourself killed than letting the thief escape without any harm done. I apologize if my logical thought process doesn't sit well with you. How about you be the test dummy and try out your way for us and come back to us with feedback on how it all went?

And you confirm my exact point, the liberal logic...if I just play along and give him what he wants I am destined to be a safe victim...Here is a few of the questions that goes thru your mind...

What did I do to make him this mad
What if I just push my wife in the way
Can I run
Should I grab the gun
Can I reason with him
Should I feel honored he picked me

What if others were dying ? If you were at one of the perpetual victim zones like Sandy Hook or Newtown would you defend other against a man with a gun, or should they lay there like sheep too and hope he suddenly stops shooting ? Would you pick up a gun then ?

Next will be :

What if he takes my gun
I dont think he wants to really hurt me (Oh you said that)
I am confident he will see my inner peace

Liberalism is a mental disorder. You really should get therapy. Then a gun.

Oh...I grabbed a quick article from a neo liberal paper for you to think about:
Teen guilty of murdering Georgia baby in stroller
Whew, glad the armed robber didnt hurt anyone.

Scared ? Because I wont lay down like a sheep ?

Australia huh...Hows that total gun confiscation working for ya ?
First year results :

homicides up 3.2%
Assaults up 8.6%
ARMED ROBBERIES UP 44%.
In Victoria homicides with firearms up 300%.

Whats the liberal reasoning on that one ? "Its a new program, we are still working out the bugs ?"

Dont lecture me on draconian gun laws or being scared. I would be really freaked out to live in Australia.
