Those are very personal choices and depend on if you can handle yourself or not but in this case there's no confrontation. The OP is holding the guy up and he just wants to get by.

imagine that; next time someone holds me up i'll take out my chain and smash their windshield. :D

Haha fair one. The point being, which I'm sure you realise, is that he is purposely holding him up un-necessarily. I'm making the assumption and could be wrong, but for me these type of people sit in the same bracket as lane hoggers which are particularly bad in the UK. In Europe if you come up behind someone in the outside lane then out of courtesy they usually move inside to let you by. In the UK many people have the same attitude as the OP and think that you should not be travelling faster than they are.

Royal, that happens in the US also. People camp out in the passing lane and you can't get by. Extremely frustrating.

Hello all,

Unfortunately I have only joined to warn everyone here of a Panigale rider who was travelling northbound filtering towards the Blackwall Tunnel this morning at 8:30am.

Filtering very close to my rear wheel and revving his engine even as I was going at a good enough and safe speed through traffic, then moving to the newrside filtering lane and cutting in front of me forcing me to break, then putting his finger up and revving away.
He had all the new gear on, new jacket and helmet and a lovely bike.

If only his disgusting attitude could be as nice.
As a biker for many years I love the comtaderie that is had and being part of a biker culture is a great experience, I have risen at the TT, with police and am an advanced rider and trainer at times so to meet such a @&#% was disappointing.

I hope you read this Mr Anti Social and wind your neck in before the tarmac does it for you, from what I could see your riding could do with a lot of improvement apart from your attitude.

All the best to everyone else here.

Ride safe,
Carlos

Agree with NOLA and Royal. You could just take the adult approach and move out of the way letting the faster rider past, but no, as you don't consider the other riders actions to be safe you have to make a point and block them. Then come to a forum they're unlikely to ever read and ..... about it. Wouldn't be surprised to find you wear a 'Polite' hi viz.

I recently had a guy on a harley trying to rev and push for a go, of all things, in a funeral procession........ ignore and carry on, if someone is fishing, don't bite, it's not difficult

No need to keyboard warrior we don't have GoPro footage, could have been no room to move over.

I think that's unlikely. If the guy on the Pani has had time to get fed up behind, let him know he's there, switch lanes, overtake, move back across and then flip the bird I'd suggest there was ample opportunity.
